What is the difference between soft photosensitive mode and passive mode?

The difference between the two lies in the different working modes used in photography.

Soft photosensitive mode (TTL mode): Soft photosensitive mode is one of the automatic working modes of the flash, also known as TTL (ThroughTheLens) mode. In this mode, the flash will measure the brightness of the light through the lens' metering system, and automatically adjust the flash output power based on the camera's metering results. This ensures appropriate flash brightness in different shooting scenarios, making photos evenly and naturally exposed.

Passive mode (manual mode): Passive mode is the manual working mode of the flash, also called manual mode. In this mode, the output power of the flash needs to be set manually, usually by adjusting the power or distance of the flash. Passive mode requires the photographer to adjust the flash output according to the actual shooting situation and expected effects, which requires relatively more experience and skills.
