The most beautiful Yunnan
The road from Dongchuan to Kunming is easy, but the scenery is not beautiful enough. The mountain road from Dongchuan to Guizhou is steep and narrow, but the scenery is beautiful. Since ancient times, you can't have your cake and eat it. How steep is it? Every time you turn a corner, the altitude drops by three meters. How narrow is it? When two cars meet, everyone should stop carefully, first observe whether there is enough width, and then pass carefully. If you don't drive carefully, there will be a big collision between the two sides and it is not impossible for the car to fly over the cliff.
The accommodation in Dongchuan is a homestay. These homestays are real homestays. During the Spring Festival, you can live in a clean and tidy standard room in 200 yuan. At other times, the price can be more than half cheaper. All signs of the hotel have the word "photography", such as "photography base" and "photography collection", and the big red neon lights light up at night. The owners of the B&B are all local people. In addition to farming, the only remaining technology is probably photography. In the living room of each homestay, there will be some large photos of the bosses, which are colorful in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
I came back from shooting the sunrise in the morning, had breakfast and had a rest. I took out my camera to see what I took this morning. The waiter who served the food just came to have a look, and I could hear what she said softly: "Insufficient exposure, you will know when you expose it to the right" and "The composition is too full, and there is no blank space". After all that talk, can you give me less money for meals?
The owner of this homestay where I live is not young either. In my early twenties, he took me to the top floor of the hotel to give directions. Look at those mountains, criss-crossing. In summer, terraces are divided into crops of different colors, such as lavender, tulips and roses. We just need a few windmills, and we are the Netherlands in the East.
The boss went on to say that there are only two largest red lands in the world, one in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the other here in Dongchuan. I can't help asking, do you like playing football? The boss continued to ignore me.
I found several photographic road maps in the dining place, which drew the routes and sequences of the shooting spots such as Wucaipo, fairview park, Luoxiagou, Music Notch, Damakan, Millennium Dragon Tree, Luosi Bay, Red Land Grand View, Moon Field and Waliang House in turn.
You don't need to make a strategy in advance to take pictures in Dongchuan red land. The boss will tell you how to go, when to go and where to go. The homestay will provide their own hand-drawn maps. If it's just sightseeing, you can walk in one day by car. If you want to wait for good weather and suitable clouds, it will take more than ten days and a half.
On the red land, it seems that you can park everywhere. The villagers here are very enthusiastic. As long as the car is parked outside any highway, they will come and take out a receipt bar code. The signal on the mountain also allows you to complete the payment smoothly.
The red land is in the mountains, and there is no entertainment in the evening, unless you want to smoke with your boss, talk about photography, or go outside to see the stars. But the fatigue caused by driving these days has made me lose interest in shooting the starry sky.
Here in Dongchuan Red Land, both ultra-wide-angle lenses and telephoto lenses can be used, but telephoto lenses are used more frequently. The key to using super wide-angle lens is that the position must be low, preferably as low as the height of crops in the field. In order to get an excellent angle, I finally fell on the field. I was ashamed when I got up, covered in mud. On the way back, I heard tourists whispering. The farmers here are so professional that they don't forget to bring tripods and SLR when they go to work in the fields.
The morning in February is very cold, and there is morning fog everywhere. Some cars are parked on the mountain road, waiting for the sunrise. I glanced around and there were several people waiting with mobile phones. Now middle-aged and elderly tour groups are basically polarized. One is fully equipped with a coat, hat, sunglasses and sun protection equipment, as well as two tripod cameras and lenses. The other is to go into battle lightly, only with mobile phones.
The sun is out, but I still can't see clearly. I gave up shooting. The foreground of the shooting scene is messy and the space is narrow, so it is useless for me to stamp my feet. The sky is not beautiful and there are no clouds. After watching it several times, the aunts and grandfathers happily patted hard with their mobile phones, which was not cold at all. Seeing that they are wearing it again, and I only wear a coat, I know what the problem is. Back in the car, the whole world became friendly.
There is also a scene in Dongchuan red land, where an old man is sitting on a small bench and a sheep is smoking a cigarette. Almost everyone who goes to the red land has photographed it. As long as you give him a little money symbolically, you can take a photo with him, or you can take a picture of his classic smile in all directions without dead ends. The lines on his face are deeply vicissitudes, and the dark skin color is golden in the sunset. And that sheep, as cool as a cucumber, is normal. Later, when I heard that there were several old people, I thought they were provided for.
Goodbye, red land.
