Shuangfeng Mountain Scenic Area was developed in 1974. It is a public institution directly under the Civil Affairs Department of Hebei Province, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a provincial patriotism education base, a provincial national defense education base, and a demonstration unit of clean government culture in provincial organs.

Located in the west of Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, the scenic spot covers an area of more than 200,000 square meters and consists of six parts: hero memorial area, social memorial area, mountain landscape area, water landscape area, parking area and office area. The park has reasonable planning and layout, pleasant natural scenery, and magnificent memorial buildings and pavilions. The main vegetation includes pine, cypress, phoenix tree, walnut, boxwood, Ligustrum lucidum, ginkgo, magnolia, heather, safflower, brocade flower, laurel, peony and clove. The combination of arbor, shrub, flower and grass forms an excellent landscape effect, and also provides a good habitat for birds and insects. Large rare birds such as grey herons often play in it. The Shuangfeng Lake in the park reflects the beautiful scenery, the waterscape fountain is magnificent, the north and south mountains are lush and majestic, and the memorial buildings are embedded in it. The pavilions are scattered and the scenery is leisurely and friendly, forming an elegant environment with four distinct seasons, mountains and rivers, natural and cultural landscapes, and harmonious coexistence of tradition and modern culture.

Chen Zhan in the Hebei Heroes Memorial Hall in the scenic spot bears the heroic deeds of famous martyrs born in Hebei since 1840. There are more than 2,800 photos of all kinds of revolutionary historical materials, more than 300 volumes of revolutionary history books, more than 570 pieces of revolutionary historical relics, and 65,438+ten thousand words of precious manuscripts of heroes, including precious manuscripts of Tian Han and An E, Yan Zhengbao, the earliest organ newspaper of Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee, and autographs, letters and Fu Chongbi by proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation such as Deng, Liu Lantao, Xiao Ke and Yang Chengwu.
