Nanjing Visual Arts School is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties with a long history. Its predecessor was the Southern Institute of Photography, a private secondary college of Nanjing Forestry University, which was established in 1999. Approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in 2005, it is an independent school. It is a comprehensive new art college.
