How to shoot small metal objects in the studio, and what is the texture? Under the guidance of the great god.

The shooting of metal products is one of the difficulties in commercial advertising photography. Because the metal surface is easy to reflect light, it will reflect the objects in the surrounding environment into the product. The shooting of metal is generally carried out in a dark room, and the ideal effect can be achieved by using fully enclosed or semi-enclosed lighting. Shooting metal products should reflect the texture characteristics and three-dimensional sense of metal, which requires that there must be an appropriate black belt area on the metal surface. The so-called appropriateness is different (it is appropriate for commercial photographers to meet customers' requirements).

Both photographic lighting methods can achieve results, but I suggest you use semi-enclosed lighting, because semi-enclosed lighting is easier to control the length and width of the black belt area. In addition, we should pay attention to the excessive effect from the highlight area to the black belt area.

Here, I'll explain the lighting and precautions for shooting the metal shower. Support the shower with a tripod, cover the shower with a piece of sulfuric acid paper with a thickness of one meter and five from left to right, polish the main light on the right with a big soft box, and use a mirror reflector on the left. Keep the background plate away from the subject and polish the background plate with a blue light source. Pay attention to prevent the background light from forming unnecessary stray light on the subject. As a reminder, to get into the good habit of shooting with gloves, especially metal photography, you must clean the metal surface without leaving any traces.
