Infrared photography is really great. What should I pay attention to?

Matters needing attention in infrared photo shooting:

1, shooting time, sunny day, summer, afternoon, choose a time with sufficient infrared rays, and infrared rays are strongest at noon in summer. Strong infrared rays can not only shorten the exposure time, but also enhance the infrared effect;

2, the choice of lens, large zoom lens is generally not suitable for shooting infrared, zoom ratio is best not more than 5 times. Large zoom lens has a large number of lenses, and the telephoto end protrudes very long, resulting in a large focus shift at both ends, which can not guarantee the clarity;

3. Try not to shoot against the light. The lens in front of the lens can't let the sun shine directly, and even the best coating will cause strong glare and fog when shooting against the light;

4, white balance settings, the color temperature of the external infrared filter is much lower than the camera's built-in white balance, only custom white balance can be used, but the white balance after setting the external filter usually fails. Although it can be adjusted after shooting with RAW, the adjustment space is limited and it is difficult to achieve the desired effect; The white balance of the modified machine also needs to be reset, otherwise the expected effect will not be achieved.
