Do you have meticulous painting in Wu Changshuo?
Wu Changshuo (1844.8.1-1927.11.29) was born in Wucun, Xiaofeng County, Zhejiang Province (now Anji County, Huzhou City). Formerly known as Jun, also known as Changshuo, also known as Cang Shi, Cang Shi and other names, such as Cang Shuo, Gu Tie, Da Deaf, Lao Lian, Lao Cang, Confucianism and Taoism, Shi Zun and so on. During the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, China was a famous painter, calligrapher and seal engraver, a representative of "Houhai School" and the first president of Hangzhou Xiling Printing Society. Together with Ren Bonian, Pu Hua and Xugu, they are called "four outstanding Shanghai scholars in the late Qing Dynasty". It integrates "poetry, calligraphy, painting and seal" and integrates stone painting and calligraphy into a furnace. It is known as "the first stone drum seal script" and "the last peak of literati painting". He is a flag figure in painting, calligraphy and seal cutting, and has high attainments in poetry and epigraphy.
After middle age, I began to paint with flowers as the main theme, and occasionally there were landscape paintings. In the early stage, he studied under Ren Yi, and later under Zhao's painting method, drawing on the strengths of Xu Wei, Badashanren, Shi Tao and Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics. He also painted with seal script, official script and weeds, which made him rich in color, vitality and innovation in Gu Zhuo. The color is bold, unique, mixed but not dirty, gorgeous but not vulgar, and has its own quaint beauty. The works emphasize the integrity and momentum, and advocate that "the bold and unrestrained place should not be separated from the statutes, and the implicit place should take care of the charm", which is full of stone spirit. Pay attention to the density of pen, ink, color, inscription and seal, and cooperate properly.
Write Mei Lan with a seal brush, and make grapes with weeds. The brushwork of flowers and trees is vigorous, magnificent, novel in layout and almost sketchy in composition. They like "zhi" and "female" or diagonal patterns. I like Zhao in color, and I like to use rich contrast colors, especially rich western red. Because of the use of cursive script in painting, the object is not realistic, which has formed a straightforward and hearty "freehand brushwork" pen and ink form that has influenced modern China painting circles.
