Basic knowledge of mobile phone professional photography

Now there are two major operating systems for smartphones: IOS and Android, and their professional modes are located in different places.

Look at the Android phone first.

Android phones can easily find "professional mode" in camera shooting mode.

If you can't find it, you can also open it in the settings.

Note: At present, almost all mainstream Android phones have professional mode. If you really can't find yours, er, maybe your mobile phone is too old. Why not consider changing it?

Well, after finding the professional mode, you can basically see the following parameters (the following figure shows the professional mode of Android phone (vivo)):

If you use Apple, Sori, there is no professional mode. ...

What should we do?

Install a professional photography APP! (but there is a charge)

Xiaoshe here recommends an Apple professional photography APP, Procam 7 (below). With it, various shooting parameters can be easily adjusted.

All right, the professional model has been found. Is it embarrassing?

It doesn't matter if it is, just simply learn.

Say to you right away:

Basic course of mobile phone photography: the use of various parameters and professional modes

Take Huawei's professional mobile phone models as an example.

Look at the picture. In professional mode, you can see many adjustable parameters, from left to right: metering mode, sensitivity (ISO), shutter speed (S), exposure compensation (EV), focusing mode (AF) and white balance (AWB).

Tip: The aperture of most mobile phones is fixed, so the aperture parameters cannot be adjusted.

What's the use of so many parameters?

Well, it's nothing more than adjusting the color, exposure and focus of the picture. We can understand them separately according to their functions.

Simply put:

-White balance

In fact, there is only one parameter to adjust the color of the picture, that is, white balance (usually the default of mobile phones is automatic white balance, which is AWB).

In addition, there are various white balance modes such as cloudy day, daytime and sunshine. Switching them can change the color of the picture.

Tips: The only function of white balance is to adjust the color of the picture, and the automatic white balance (AWB) mode is most used.

Just remember that the only function of white balance is to adjust the color of the picture, and AWB mode is used the most.

-Focus mode

AF is autofocus;

MF is manual focusing;

AF-S single autofocus (used to shoot still objects, and quickly press the shutter to shoot after touching the screen to focus).

AF-C continuous autofocus (used to shoot moving objects. When using this mode, the mobile phone will automatically track the moving object to focus).

Next, let's take a look at the parameters for adjusting the exposure of the picture:

Exposure compensation (EV), sensitivity (ISO), shutter speed (S).

—— Exposure compensation (EV): Its main function is to increase or decrease the exposure (brightness) of the whole picture;

-Sensitivity (ISO): It mainly affects the sensitivity/absorption of light by the photosensitive elements in the lens.

Tip: The higher the sensitivity, the higher the screen exposure, the lower the sensitivity and the darker the screen exposure;

-Shutter speed (S) Shutter speed: It affects the amount of light entering the picture. The slower the shutter speed, the more light enters the lens and the brighter the picture exposure; Conversely, the darker the exposure.

Then the question is coming, how to judge the speed of the shutter?

Give a chestnut! 1100s is faster than110s, and10s is slower than1/kloc-0s. You got it?

By the way, there is also a metering mode.

In fact, the metering mode generally does not need to be adjusted, because its influence on the picture is almost negligible, that is to say, the exposure of the picture obtained by different metering modes is not much different, and the adjustment is of little significance. In general, we can use the default metering mode of the mobile phone.
