Organizational activities in china portrait photography society

The 12th National Portrait Photography Exhibition is jointly sponsored by china portrait photography society and Global Times. The National Portrait Photography Art Exhibition started in l96 1 and was jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the China Photographers Association. The exhibition will be held every three years. 1964 was exhibited in China Art Museum, and Mr. Guo Moruo, a leading literary figure in China, personally wrote an inscription for the film festival. It has been successfully held for eleven sessions, spanning nearly 50 years. It is one of the highest-level and most influential activities in the field of photography in China, and enjoys a high reputation among portrait photographers all over the country. Through exhibitions, a large number of outstanding portrait photographers and institutions have been selected and trained.
