How to use a digital camera

How to use a digital camera? Be sure to set the camera parameters before shooting.

Most digital cameras provide various settings in the settings menu. Including image resolution, focusing mode, aperture, shutter and other items, of which the most commonly used is image resolution. Many cameras offer multiple resolution options. For example, Agfa 1280 has five settings, namely 1280? 960、 1024? 768Hi、 1024? 768、640? 480Hi and 640? 480。 Most cameras have default settings. If the camera is not used for a period of time, for example, after 30 minutes, the default settings will automatically take effect when the camera is restarted. Therefore, before each shooting, especially after replacing the battery, be sure to check the camera's setting menu again and confirm the settings such as resolution and aperture, otherwise the photos taken may not achieve the expected effect.

Second, try to shoot at the highest resolution.

The resolution of digital cameras is limited, and so is DD high-end cameras. In low-end digital cameras, the resolution of photos ranges from 640? 480dpi 1024? 768dpi, which is very low compared with traditional cameras. In fact, most web images are below 640? 480dpi. Therefore, the images taken by digital cameras are only suitable for web browsing.

When taking digital photos, getting the highest definition possible is the first problem. When shooting with a traditional camera, the main consideration is to take a good view and construct a good picture. If a digital camera is to shoot a typical photographic work, all the basic photographic principles are applicable. But if you only shoot a single object, such as a watch or a mobile phone, then the criteria for framing and adding actions can be ignored. At this time, try to fill the object in the frame, even if the composition of the obtained photo is poor, it doesn't matter, and the maximum resolution should be used on the subject. In other words, to take a picture of a person, the surrounding scenery must be included in the frame, so that people and scenery can be balanced and the composition principle of traditional photography can be followed. However, in digital photography, photos containing scenes are often taken first, and then the images are processed and the redundant parts are cut off. This means that no matter what the golden rule of traditional photography is, the picture should be as full of expected images as possible. For example, if you take pictures of computers at home, you have to make only the computers in the scene frame and then cut them out in the image processing software. This will maximize the resolution of the main computer of the picture.

Third, use light correctly.

Most digital cameras have higher requirements for light. Before shooting, create good lighting conditions as much as possible. Conventional film is also affected by light, but it is much smaller than digital cameras. If the illumination is too strong in the photo range of a digital camera, it will produce a banded effect, and it is difficult to correct it without a lot of detailed adjustment work. On the other hand, because CCD has a certain photosensitive threshold, if the light is dark and cannot reach the required minimum brightness, digital photos will be seriously damaged. Even if the light is a little weak, it can obviously reduce the clarity of the photo.

Due to the limitation of the effective distance of the flash, even if the flash is used, the lighting conditions in the shadow area or at night may still be underexposed for the digital camera. Using more sensitive CCD chip is an effective way to reduce the light requirement of digital camera. At the same time, it should be noted that some types of light have different effects on different cameras, and so does conventional photography. The key is that some lighting conditions have different effects on digital cameras and conventional cameras, which requires experiments. Fluorescent lighting will produce brightness and color deviation; For the best results, you can use news lights to shoot TV. The experiment shows that in a shooting cycle, tungsten lamp in the photography room is used for digital shooting, and then the photos are observed on the computer. Surprisingly, orange was obviously added to the photo when the light was directly directed at the lens (not from the back). For low-end digital cameras, natural light is really the best. You can also use desk lamps and camera lamps, but you need to control the lights to be direct, because the low resolution of light and camera will offset the efforts to obtain excellent and continuous tones. In order to make the best use of sunlight without taking pictures outdoors, you can use a white poster board as the background, set up a table and put it next to the window to make the best use of sunlight. At present, sunlight completely or partially covered by clouds is the best light source for digital cameras.

Fourth, use the flash carefully.

Many digital cameras have built-in flash. There are usually four settings: flash, no flash, red-eye flash and automatic flash. The last one is to let the camera confirm whether extra light is needed. In many cases, the flash may destroy a perfect photo, or make mistakes that will be hard to clear in the future. For digital cameras used by fools, most automatic flashes occur in cloudy weather. Turn off the flash and then increase the exposure time to get better results. Flash is not as well controlled as exposure time, and the light emitted by flash is easily reflected by nearby objects, forming an uneven halo in the photo. Therefore, even in cloudy weather or at dusk and sunset (or other unsatisfactory lighting conditions), flash lamps should be used as little as possible. The image is processed by CCD chip, and the infrared light emitted by the flash will affect the image. For example, when recording, the red area may turn green. When shooting indoors, you should provide enough lighting so that you can use flashless photos or see if the photos without flashless photos are satisfactory. In order to see the difference, you can take two photos of the same object, one with flash, the other without flash, and it may be better without flash. You can learn the skill of taking pictures without a flash, but at this time you need other light sources to fill the light.

Adjustment of color temperature of verb (abbreviation of verb)

Friends who are familiar with traditional photography know that color film can be divided into daylight type and illumination type, aiming at adapting to different light source environments. The color temperature of sunlight is 5000K, and the color temperature of halogen quartz lamp is 3200K ... Digital cameras can't change films, so white balance adjustment is adopted, both manual and automatic. Manual adjustment is sensitive and can create unexpected artistic effects, but it is not so simple and difficult to master.

Automatic adjustment can ensure that the shooting effect will not be greatly deviated, but it is difficult to create special artistic effects. For example, shooting with sunlight film and using 3200K quartz lamp as light source can create a warm atmosphere, and the skin color is yellow and red, which is a very common technique in wedding photography. Shooting with a digital camera and automatically adjusting the white balance are not as obvious as traditional cameras, but the shooting effect is not bad. The same lighting, the same model position, and shooting with different color backgrounds will make the model's skin color different. Different digital cameras have great differences in shooting, so the adjustment of white balance must be carried out in different shooting environments, so as to be aware of it.

Sixth, download the photos to the computer, adjust and save them.

Digital cameras generally have liquid crystal displays (LCDs). Most liquid crystal displays are backlit, and the photos displayed on them may look much better than those displayed on the computer, especially in areas with saturated and bright colors. LCD is best used only for image positioning, such as browsing images or building image indexes. In short, it is suitable for simple viewing.

It is worth reminding that the image effect on the LCD screen does not represent the final photo effect. Thumbnails can't fully reflect the real situation of generated photos. Moreover, a photo that doesn't look good in the case of thumbnails is likely to have some interesting or useful parts. Before deleting photos, download all the images in the camera to the hard disk, observe them on the computer screen, and then decide whether to delete them. Download the captured image to the computer, and you can perform corresponding operations according to the different software that comes with the camera. Generally speaking, most download software can display a series of thumbnails representing the images stored in the camera, and you can choose the photos you want to download from the camera from the thumbnails. After opening a set of images with the camera, you can make changes and then save them, or you can save them as they are and make changes later. Many downloaded software can make changes to photos, but not all software packages provide suitable change options. So the best way is to download and save the image as it is, and then modify it.

Seven, modify the original picture.

First, check the images, visually check each image, and maybe write some notes. Is this image too big, too dark, too bright or too fuzzy? After picking out the faults, use image processing software to improve the final image effect and correct one problem at a time. Of course, not every photo needs so much work. However, almost every photo needs targeted adjustment. You can make various attempts until you get a satisfactory image, and then save it. Digital image adjustment requires mastering image processing software, such as Photoshop, UleadImpact, Photo-Deluxe, etc. Then consider what to do next. For example, don't use a wide range of effective settings and don't make too many changes; Do only a few small gradients at a time, preview the effect first, slowly achieve the best effect, and then confirm to save.

Eight, digital creative application

When you use film photography, you can develop the photos and put them directly into a photo frame, photo album or slide show. The second processing of digital photos is the real pleasure of digital photography. Different from film photography, digital photography can change images and provide new ways to use them. Digital photographic works can be deformed, spliced, shaded, brightened and collaged. These functions are the beauty of buying a digital camera. When taking pictures with a digital camera, we should give full consideration to achieving the ideal effect. For example, if you want to create a simple photo with a prominent theme, you should pay attention to all aspects of the frame. However, if you plan to create an interesting photo puzzle or cut a theme, you should fill the frame with the image you want to take, no matter how bad the photo itself looks. For example, to create an artistic image with printmaking effect, it is necessary to maximize the photos in order to extract line drawings from them. In fact, the combination of digital camera and image processing has created so many interesting possibilities that we should learn how to create the best harmonious effect between the photos to be taken and the final results to be achieved.

Nine, photo printing skills

Digital cameras ultimately rely on printers to complete the whole process. At present, as far as photo printers are concerned, the possibility of using thermal dye sublimation is very small, and color inkjet printers account for the vast majority. In terms of photo printing quality, you should choose a printer with photo quality. In this respect, Epson's photo series is well-known, and photo-grade glossy paper and photographic paper are the first choice for printing paper, which is completely different from ordinary inkjet paper. The print quality of 1440dpi and 720dpi can be easily distinguished by naked eyes. If quality is emphasized, 1440dpi should be selected for printing, although the price paid is longer printing time and more ink consumption. If you want to print a perfect photo, you can cold-mount the ink-jet printed photo. The cold-mounted film is a thin model in the middle, so the final work will be no different from the color photo of the same size.

Ten, carry spare parts.

Digital cameras consume a lot of power, especially when the LCD screen is turned on? Electric tiger? In the future. It is suggested to use 1300mAH nickel-hydrogen or lithium-ion rechargeable battery as the extended power supply. When shooting outdoors, you must bring a fully charged spare battery because you can't use AC power. When shooting indoors, try to use AC power. However, it is necessary to ensure that the output voltage of this power supply is completely consistent with the voltage required by the digital camera. In use, it is found that the AC power supply of some cameras can be shared with digital cameras, such as Panasonic series? Palm treasure? The camera power supply can directly use digital cameras from Ackfar, Epson and Casio. In addition, a certain number of memory cards should be prepared to avoid missing the wonderful shots due to insufficient storage space during shooting.
