How to shoot high-value portraits outdoors?
What is high-profile? This is actually a concept derived from black-and-white photography to color photography: in black-and-white photography, high-profile works occupy most of the picture with white to light gray tone levels, plus a small amount of dark shadow tones. High-profile works give people a clear, pure and light feeling, but with the change of subject matter and environment, there will also be a feeling of desolation, emptiness and sadness. Taking high-profile portrait photography is actually related to the lighting in the shooting scene: high-profile lighting is actually a shadowless lighting. If you shoot a bright subject, you will get a light-colored image. How to achieve high-profile lighting? First of all, the theme must be clear and not too many details. When lighting, the light should be scattered and soft, and the position should be as close as possible to the camera. In order to eliminate the shadow caused by the main light by using the auxiliary light and the reflector, overexposure is appropriate when shooting. It is difficult to set grid lights when shooting outdoors (it is of course a good auxiliary lighting if conditions permit). To shoot high-profile portraits outdoors, several conditions must be met. First, the weather is fine and sunny, but it should not be too violent and strong light should not be used; Second, the scene meets the shooting requirements, and the background is as light as possible, such as lake, sky and distant view; The third is to shoot against the light as much as possible. When shooting in backlight, people's faces will inevitably turn black. At this time, you will use the reflector. It's best to fill the light with two pieces, one for the face and one for the shadow.
