Art College of Xi International Studies University is the predecessor of Xiying Film and Television Media College of Xi International Studies University. June 20 10, the faculty was reorganized and renamed as the Art College of Xi 'an International Studies University. At present, there are six majors in art design, animation and film and television performance, broadcast host, drama, film and television literature and photography, with more than 200 students 1.200.

The College of Art adheres to the principle of organic combination of art teaching, art creation and art research, and relies on the advantages of the school in foreign language teaching and international exchange and cooperation, vigorously promotes the integration of majors and foreign languages, highlights the concept of "specialization and specialization of foreign languages", and cultivates professionals with solid theory, excellent skills, high aesthetic ability and artistic accomplishment who can engage in teaching, creation and research in this major.

The college has a team of teachers with solid theoretical foundation, rich practical experience and equal emphasis on teaching and creation. There are 9 full-time teachers in the college, including 2 professors, 3 doctors and 4 masters. Many teachers have won prizes in national and provincial professional competitions, with outstanding scientific research ability and fruitful creative achievements. In addition, the college actively uses external resources through various channels and ways, and employs experts and scholars with deep attainments in related majors as visiting professors and practical tutors, strengthening the combination of production and learning, and improving the practical character and students' practical ability of professional construction.

The college has a beautiful school environment and perfect teaching facilities. Computer multimedia design room, animation plane studio, studio, performance hall and dance rehearsal hall ensure the normal teaching. At present, the college has initially established an art education and creation institution based on visual art, with film and television art as the core, covering all aspects of editing, directing and performance, and effectively integrating film and television art design with film and television animation.

The college pays attention to cultivating students' practical ability and comprehensive quality in teaching, and encourages students to actively participate in social activities and competitions and win many awards. The calligraphy and painting club, one of the student associations, has been widely concerned by the teachers and students of the whole school and has become a characteristic club to cultivate students' comprehensive quality. The performance major students won the silver prize in the 20 10 China Golden Bell Award Pop Music Competition, and the animation major students' work "Preference" won the third prize in the static works group of the first original animation competition in Xi, China. The college actively expands cooperation with film and television companies and animation industry companies, which provides favorable conditions for students' internship and employment and a broader space for professional practice.
