Cross the dirt road beside the fish pond and then go to a section of cement road, where a tourist center is being built. In front of it is a large area where various crops are planted. Several farmers are planting sweet potatoes and don't care about our way. Look to the left, and you can see Longshan. Go straight along the cement road to the end, and there will be a wooden plank road leading directly to the foot of Longshan Mountain. Climbing to the top of Longshan Mountain is the perfect expectation of Huixian Wetland Tour!

Gan Long bridge

Longshan overlooks Huixian wetland. The first two times were missed because of the time problem, and only the third time was able to have a panoramic view of the wetland. I missed it twice, but the third time, the three of us directly contracted the surprise of the whole wetland. Life is different. Huixian karst national wetland park belongs to Guilin karst landform peak forest karst wetland. The Guguiliu Canal, which passes through the wetland, adds more vitality to the wetland. Huixian Wetland is the largest karst wetland in China.

The rural scenery of Huixian wetland should be said to be the representative of Guilin's rural scenery. There are fields in the mountains, strange mountains in the countryside, and traffic in Loucun. The most spectacular thing here is the glass field located in Muhuantou Village, Huixian Town (not in the wetland scenic area), surrounded by mountains and criss-crossing buildings. Generally, go to Huixian Wetland, and recommend Ganlong Bridge and Copper Bridge. According to legend, Emperor Qing Qianlong passed by this bridge when he went down to the south of the Yangtze River, and the wetland plank road was named after walking to Ganlong Bridge. Copper Bridge, built in the Tang Dynasty, has a history of 1300 years. The copper bridge blends with the strange mountains, clear water and ancient rivers in the surrounding Liu Cui, depicting a touching pastoral picture, which is an element full of love for photographers.

4) Climb to the top of the mountain overlooking the wetland.

Huixian wetland can reach the top of the mountain overlooking the wetland, including Jiutou Mountain, Phoenix Mountain and Longshan Mountain, with Longshan being the first choice. Not only can you go to the foot of the mountain by boat, but the most important thing is the walking plank road now, and you can also walk to the foot of the mountain. There is a repaired hiking trail in Longshan. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the top of Longshan Mountain. The top of Longshan Mountain overlooks the beautiful panoramic view of the wetland, overlooking the rice fields in the distance and the crazy people in Qian Qian, sitting and watching the sunrise and sunset.

5) Bai Chongxi's former residence

Bai Chongxi, the core figure of the People First Party in Guangxi, is second only to Li Zongren, and is called Xiao Zhuge. He was born in Shanwei village next to Huixian wetland, and now his ancestral home has become a cultural relic protection unit. Those who are interested in tracing the life of great men can go and have a look. Bai Chongxi's former residence is not open regularly. It is said that people can go to the village Committee if necessary.

Although Huixian Wetland is already a national wetland park, it has not been commercialized at present, so there are few places to eat and live. Qingqing B&B/ Qingqing Farm is recommended here. It's near Maojia Wharf, very close to the plank road. It is convenient to take the plank road in the morning and evening. In addition, the farmhouse is also their home, and their braised chicken, eggs and porridge are all very good (just eating, no photos of porridge, haha).

1) There are three wharves in Huixian Wetland: Maojia Wharf/Sanyi Wharf/Qixing Wharf.

2) Glass Yard, Copper Bridge and Bai Chongxi's former residence need to leave the scenic spot and take a taxi.
