Qingdao is a famous tourist city in Shandong. My parents often go to Qingdao for their summer holidays. During this period, we visited many scenic spots in Qingdao, such as Zhanqiao, Badaguan, May 4th Square and Xiaoyu Mountain. Among all the scenic spots, the best place to watch the sunrise in Qingdao is Laoshan Mountain.

Laoshan Mountain

Introduction of scenic spots:

Qingdao Laoshan Scenic Area stands on the coast of the Yellow Sea and is known as "the first famous mountain on the sea". It is the main mountain range of Shandong Peninsula, with grotesque caves, clear springs and waterfalls, with the highest peak and old roof at an altitude of1133m. There is an old local saying: "Mount Tai is not as high as the East China Sea." The mountains and seas are connected and beautiful, which is the characteristic of Laoshan scenery. It is the only mountain range in China that lives by the sea.

The coastline around Laoshan Mountain is 87 kilometers long and there are 18 coastal islands, which constitute the maritime wonders of Laoshan Mountain. Laoshan Mountain was called "the house of immortals, the house of immortals" in ancient times. It is said that both Qin Shihuang and Han Wudi came here to seek immortality. Laoshan Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain in China. In the heyday of the past, there were "nine palaces, eight views and seventy-two temples" and thousands of Taoist priests in the whole mountain. Qiu Changchun, Zhang Sanfeng and other Taoist celebrities once practiced here. Most of the original Taoist temples were destroyed, and the Taiqing Palace was the largest and had the longest history.

Laoshan Scenic Area mainly includes Jufeng, Liu Qing, Taiqing, Qipanshi, Yangkou, Beijiushui and Hualou, among which Liu Qing-Taiqing-Qipanshi-Yangkou are on the same tour line. Visitors can visit the scenic spots in the scenic area through the south line, the east line, the middle line and the waterway. In addition, the 12 scenic spots in Laoshan Mountain also include: Giant Peak Shining, Rain Spraying in Longtan, Mingxia Scattering, Clear Water and Bright Moon, Cape Fairy Pier, Naluoyan Cave, Yundong Pansong, Shiling Cross Cloud, Flower Building Rocks, Nine Waters and Clear Water, Rock Waterfall Tide and Zhu Weiquan Ming Sound.

Bus route:

Laoshan Mountain is divided into four scenic spots: Beijiushui, Hualou, Yangkou, Jufeng and Taiqing. You need to take different bus routes in different places.

1) Beijiushui: Take the 6 19 bus to the East Bus Station-Beijiushui, all the way to 2 yuan; Or take bus 365, 1 10, 3 1 1,12 to Wolong village, and then walk.

2) Hualou: Take bus No.365,1/kloc-0, 3 1 1,12 to Lanjiazhuang. 4-6 yuan, then walk.

3) Yangkou: Take bus 1 10, 3 12, 37 1 and 383 to Yangkou, and the highest price is 6 yuan by section.

4) Jufeng and Taiqing: Take bus No.304, 104, 802, 1 13 to Dahedong, with the highest fare in 6 yuan.

Self-driving route: Depart from Qingdao Railway Station, Ferry Terminal, Qianhai, Zhongshan Park and Qingdao Municipal Government, follow Hong Kong Road or Donghai Road to Shilaoren, connect Zhanliugan Road to Shazikou, the gateway at the southern foot of Laoshan Mountain, and enter the mountainous area from Shazikou.
