This list is divided into four parts according to the location of the school, the type of school, the subject category and so on. The first part is ordinary undergraduate colleges (719 in total); The second part is the general higher vocational colleges (1105); The third part is the independent college approved by the state (317 in total); The fourth part is the branch schools approved by the state (total 145). Excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan military academies. Except for the list of colleges and universities announced this time, any other institutions (including colleges and universities approved for construction) are not qualified to hold general higher education. The state will not recognize the student status and graduation certificate issued by the unit that enrolls students in violation of regulations. Since 2002, Fujian Provincial Department of Education, together with Microsoft and ATA, has tried to launch a professional curriculum system that is suitable for the development of vocational education in China and can be in line with international standards.
