How to deal with ants in bonsai soil?

1. When applying decomposed fertilizer to base fertilizer or organic fertilizer, it is necessary to use fully fermented and decomposed organic fertilizer, not raw fertilizer or semi-mature fertilizer, so as not to cause ants to feed.

2. Clean up the excrement of flies, moths, aphids, mites and other insects left on the leaves, which is easy to attract ants to find food, so spray the leaves with clear water frequently to keep them clean. At the same time, we should always clean the ground, keep the potted flower maintenance site clean and sanitary, and avoid attracting ants with odorous substances.

3. Soak the potted flowers that have been harmed by ants, and then slowly put them into a bucket filled with water (the water depth can overflow the soil) for 30 to 60 minutes. Ants can't stand the flood, and they all crawl out of the pot. At this time, ants floating on the water and crawling on the stems and leaves of potted flowers can be eliminated.

4. Garlic is peeled and mashed, and these crumbs are buried in the pot soil. Ants can't stand the fumigation of garlic gas and will run away by themselves.

The most effective way to remove the plants that have built nests in the roots is to turn over the pots in the pool to kill all the ants. Then clean the roots of plants and cultivate potted flowers with sterilized new potted soil.
