How to improve the analysis and control of cold and warm contrast in color?
Second, the color change in temperature planning:
On the color circle, red, orange and yellow are called warm colors, and orange is called warm pole; Green, cyan and blue are classified as cool colors, and sky blue is called cold pole.
3. Strong, Medium and Weak Contrast of Color with Temperature:
(1) Strong contrast between cold and warm: contrast between cold and warm polar colors (orange and blue).
(2) Strong contrast between cold and warm: contrast between warm pole and cold color, and contrast between cold pole and warm color.
(3) Cold and warm contrast: the contrast between warm color and neutral slightly cool color, and the contrast between cool color and neutral slightly warm color.
(4) Weak contrast between cold and warm: the contrast between warm color and warm polar color, cold color and cold polar color.
Fourth, the psychological feeling of using cold and warm colors:
(1) In terms of temperature:
Cold and warm is the feeling of human skin to the outside temperature. The sun, fire, torch and red-hot iron blocks are all very hot, and the red-orange light reflected by them has the function of heat conduction. The sea, blue sky, distant mountains, snow and other environments reflect the most blue light, so these places are always cold. So under the conditioned reflex, I feel hot when I see red and orange light, and cold when I see blue light. Therefore, in summer, we turn off the incandescent lamp and turn on the fluorescent lamp indoors, which will have a cool feeling. Using cool colors on the packaging of cold food or cold drink will visually cause the feeling of cold food. In winter, changing the curtains of the bedroom into warm colors will increase the warmth of the room. When people walk into the bathroom, when they see the faucet with the blue sign, they naturally think it is a cold water pipe. If it is a red and orange sign, they will think of hot water pipes.
Japanese colorist Otsuka Hiroshi once gave an example: one workshop was painted gray-blue and the other was painted red-orange The objective temperature conditions in these two workplaces are the same, and the labor intensity of workers is the same, but the color affects people's psychology and physiology. People in the gray-blue workplace will feel cold when it is 59 degrees Fahrenheit, but people in the red-orange workplace will still not feel cold when the temperature drops from 59 degrees to 52 degrees. This proves the influence of color temperature perception on people. The reason is that blue can lower blood pressure, and slow blood flow means cold feeling. On the contrary, red and orange make blood pressure rise and blood circulation accelerate, that is, there is a sense of warmth.
(2) In terms of weight and humidity:
Warm colors are heavy and cool colors are light. Warm colors are dry and cool colors are wet.
In winter, in order to make the snow melt faster, you can sprinkle some black ash on the snow. Snow sprinkled with black ash melts quickly, while snow not sprinkled with ash melts slowly. In summer, the newly paved asphalt pavement is not easy to solidify under the sunlight, so people often sprinkle some white clay on it. The white clay has high reflectivity and the asphalt pavement can solidify quickly. This is the function of dark light absorption and bright light reflection. Therefore, in the achromatic color school, white is called cold pole and black is called warm pole.
(3) In the sense of space:
Warm colors have a sense of closeness and expansion, while cool colors have a sense of shrinking and shrinking. Generally speaking, in a narrow space, if you want to make the space spacious, you should use cool colors.
(4) The temperature of color is influenced by brightness and purity:
In achromatic color school, white is called cold pole and black is called warm pole. Warm color plus white, cold; Cool colors add white to warm colors. On the contrary, the higher the purity, the stronger the sense of cold and warm; With the decrease of purity, the sense of cold and warm will also decrease.
In summer, people are used to wearing white or light-colored clothes. One reason is that white and light-colored clothes have high reflectivity, so they feel cool. In winter, people are used to wearing black and dark clothes, because black and dark clothes have low reflectivity and high absorption rate, so they have a warm feeling. I believe this will help you!
