Why are the pictures of mainland TV dramas so different from those of Hong Kong?

I only talk about the comparison between Jin Yong's martial arts and Chinese mainland Port (modern dramas don't make comparative comments).

Clothing, background, tables and chairs, these hardware I think the mainland is better.

Plot, actors, acting, TV music, of course, Hong Kong is better.

Technically speaking, most of Hong Kong is good, but in recent years, the mainland has made progress and made rapid progress.

I think the details (the details here refer to the actors' acting skills, not the hardware of the tables and chairs) are very touching, especially the roles of martial arts figures are more appropriate from some details. Hong Kong films are magnificent, but the details are very touching. Many classic details have left a deep impression on me, and I have never forgotten them for more than ten years.

However, the martial arts films in mainland China are rough, medium and thick in plot.

I prefer Hong Kong films, because I think as long as the plot and actors are well performed and the music complements each other, other hardware (costumes, props and the like) are just foil, while the actors in Jin Yong's martial arts films filmed in Chinese mainland in recent years are very poor, and the music and fighting are even worse.

It's just that the clothes are beautiful, the makeup of both the protagonist and the supporting role is good, even the props and even the patterns on the tables and chairs are exquisite, so I can only say that the director's doing this gives me the feeling that there is only one thing that doesn't matter.

Even the most important actors' acting skills, plot setting and lens editing are all messed up, but they pay attention to those minor things, alas.

The above is purely a personal opinion.

PS. The recent Lotus Lantern Prequel is not a brave movie. Oh, I think it's super.

It turns out that the mainland can make such a good film, and the attention to detail was actually taken by CCTV, which is a bit incredible. It is right to shoot it later.
