What factors should be considered in the selection of shutter speed when shooting moving objects? Please give an example.

When shooting a moving object, the shutter speed is selected based on the following four factors.

* the speed of moving objects

* the direction of the moving object

* Distance of moving objects

* focal length of photographic lens

1。 Obviously, the shutter speed required to "freeze" the marathon runner's action is much lower than the speed required to stop the speeding bullet. In fact, the shutter speed we need to choose should be roughly equal to the speed at which the object moves. The shutter speed required to "freeze" an escaped rabbit must be much higher than that required to stop an escaped tortoise.

2. The direction of a moving object It seems that an object moves through our field of vision, that is, from one side to the other, much faster than when it approaches or leaves us at the same speed.

To illustrate this point, we can observe the following two photos of the same motorcycle speeding at the same speed. Both photos were taken at the same distance at the speed of1/60s. In the first photo, the motorcycle moves in the field of vision, and its image is completely blurred. In another photo, the motorcycle is moving towards the camera, almost without blurring.
