Why is the color of toothpaste not messy?

The color of the toothpaste will not be messy, because the striped toothpaste with different colors is poured out in different proportions when making. Even if toothpaste is squeezed, the positions of different colors are still neat.

Toothpaste belongs to non-Newtonian fluid, more precisely, it belongs to Bingham fluid, which belongs to a kind of non-Newtonian fluid. The basic characteristic of Bingham fluid is that it will flow when stressed, but it is generally elastic when it is not stressed. When toothpaste is at rest, that is, when it is not extruded, toothpaste is generally elastic and actually more like a solid, so different colors are basically not mixed together.

Moreover, in order to prevent different colors from permeating each other, manufacturers also added polymer reagents to toothpaste, which made it more difficult to mix toothpaste.

Manufacture of colored strip toothpaste

Before the production of toothpaste, the raw materials should be strictly tested to ensure that the toothpaste produced meets strict quality requirements. According to the amount of ingredients required by the formula, all kinds of raw materials are mixed with a blender and put into different filling machines.

The manufactured empty toothpaste tube is sent to the static eliminator by a conveyor to remove the static electricity in the toothpaste tube, and the dust on the inner wall of the toothpaste tube is sucked away by a special vacuum cleaner, and whether the toothpaste tube is clean or not is observed by a high-speed camera, so as to sterilize before toothpaste is loaded and ensure hygiene and safety.

At this time, the toothpaste tube will be sent to the filling machine. On the filling machine, several adjacent nozzles spray toothpaste of different colors at the same time, and the strips of different colors will stick together in the process of rapid filling.
