What's the difference between a godfather and a gangster?

In fact, both films are the same classic for the Chinese community. Are based on the underworld; We will focus on describing some tagged characters with pen and ink: Marlon Brando, an old gentleman in The Godfather, Corleone, an eloquent old man, and Al Pacino's second-generation Interpretation of Purpose. There are also pheasants and Haonan that we are familiar with, and so on.

However, after so many years of baptism, we can now feel that The Godfather has become a classic from generation to generation, and Young and Dangerous seems to have always been regarded as an entertainment film. There are good scripts and actors with good strength in the industry at that time. I think the reasons for this situation are as follows:

First, the selected perspectives are different. One of the shooting tasks of The Godfather is to shoot the taste of the Italian mafia "old gentleman", so we can see their family's grand and warm gathering; Gang leaders in suits and ties plan for gangs, and so on. Young and dangerous is about little people. As a starting point, it is the story of "the young people at the bottom grow up to be social leaders". Naturally, it will not be as decent as The Godfather.

Second, The Godfather has a more grand story layout, while Young and Dangerous is much simpler. Because of the different perspectives, it also affected the two films to convey the story. Because the story of The Godfather starts from the top, they can tell many emotions in the story, including the Corleone family's reluctance to get in touch with drugs, and deeper things about gangs are easier to express. The "young and dangerous" from the bottom perspective can never touch the core of the gang, and Teacher Jiang hardly talks to them about how the gang develops. Therefore, "Young and Dangerous" is more about "blood, youth and love" between "little people", while "Godfather" expresses more subtly at the gang level and can convey more things.

Third, I'm a little subjective. Young and dangerous is an obvious commercial film, which is the product of the most prosperous period of Hong Kong commercial films, so it will cater to the market indefinitely, so Young and dangerous is a "cool film". The godfather needs to whitewash the Italian mafia, so it will naturally take into account some artistry.

These are some of my observations.
