Yunnan people. 1983 graduated from Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University with a bachelor's degree in literature; 1983- 1996, taught in Chinese Department of Yunnan University for Nationalities, 1992 was promoted as a lecturer. 1987 was admitted to the Chinese Department of Yunnan University to study literary aesthetics, and 1990 obtained a master's degree. 1996 transferred to the Institute of Literature of Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences for anthropological research. 1997, promoted to associate researcher and researcher in 2000. He has been rated as an advanced scientific research worker for many years and enjoys the special talent allowance of Yunnan provincial government. At present, he is the editorial board member of Yunnan Huaxia Human Geography Magazine (formerly Camellia), a special correspondent of Yunnan Pictorial, an exclusive interview with Taiwan Province Dida Geography Magazine, a special author of Taiwan Province Classic Magazine, the editor-in-chief of Taiwan Province T-Photo Image Magazine, a director of China Southwest Ethnic Research Association, a member of China Art Photography Association, a member of the professional committee of human history and geography of China Adventure Association, and a deputy secretary-general of Yunnan Adventure Association.

Good at outdoor adventure and survival, anthropological field investigation, documentary photography. In recent years, he has focused on tracking and recording the cultural phenomenon that human beings are about to disappear and investigating the cultural changes of ethnic minorities. So far, I have traveled all the provinces and regions in China and the most remote corners in China, and interviewed and inspected 46 ethnic minorities such as Dulong, Loba, Menba, Tajik, Kazak, Kirgiz, Oroqen, Ewenki, Hezhe and Gaoshan. He has visited and filmed in Tibetan areas fifteen times.
