What strange thing happened at Cixi's funeral that put the photographer in jail?

According to various unofficial history, anecdotes, rumors and legends, six strange things happened after the death of Cixi.

The first strange thing: on the day of Cixi's funeral, the weather was very strange. First the capital was shrouded in fog, and then it was covered with dark clouds. The procession escorting Cixi's funeral took five days and walked 280 miles. When they were approaching Dongling, a demon wind suddenly blew, and thunder and lightning flashed. It rained, but it never rained.

The second strange thing: in the procession escorting Cixi to the funeral, many paper soldiers, paper sedan chairs and paper horses were originally carried at the ratio of 1: 1. However, when the dark clouds shrouded and the demon wind was blowing hard, some people saw that the paper soldiers would "live" and there was a strange smile on their faces. Therefore, some people say that this is a "shadow soldier borrowing the road."

The third strange thing: along the way, Cixi's coffin kept oozing red blood! Since Cixi didn't attend the funeral until one year after her death, how could the dead who died for one year have blood oozing from the coffin? Therefore, people are inexplicably afraid.

The fourth event: Twenty years later, Sun Dianying, a great warlord, opened the tomb of Cixi and swept away all the jewels and jade articles in it. Later, I opened the coffin and stripped all the clothes and treasures from Cixi. I found that Cixi looks like life and is so popular that she wants to use her body.

The fifth event: Sun Dianying tore Cixi's mouth open and took away the night pearl inside. Cixi's body immediately rotted, and the soldiers who were preparing to abuse the body shouted "fake corpse."

The sixth event: After Sun Dianying took off, when the Manchu adherents went to clean up the scene, they found that Cixi was covered with white hair.

The more these six strange things spread, the more fantastic they became, and the more frightened they became.

But after careful consideration, it is not difficult to find that these six things can be explained scientifically if they are not legends made out of nothing.

First, the weather is abnormal. There is nothing to say. It can only be said that Cixi encountered such weather during the funeral.

Second, the so-called "ghost soldiers borrow the road" is purely a witness's psychological problem, because in the fog, the vision is not good. Seeing this large number of paper-tied horses, they thought that they were "alive" and "laughing" because of some psychological suggestion in the legend of the underworld, so they passed it on as "the Yin soldiers borrowed the Tao".

The third thing: the blood oozing from Cixi's coffin came from the mouse in the coffin. Because the staff have to keep the body of Empress Dowager Cixi for a whole year before they can go out for a funeral, they should constantly apply spices to the body to prevent it from rotting. Second, cover up the body odor. As a result, these spices attracted a large number of mice. On the day of the funeral, the mouse had no time to escape. After the coffin was covered, it could never escape. That is, on the way from Beijing Palace to Ding Dong Mausoleum in Putuo Valley, rats ate poisonous spices, and blood flowed from the gap in the coffin plate.

The fourth thing: 20 years later, Cixi's body still looks like life, which is doubtful. The biggest doubt is that soldiers want to abuse corpses to vent their desires. Think about it, even before Cixi died, she was a 74-year-old woman with a ferocious face. Who can afford to be angry with such a face? Besides, she's been dead for 20 years? Well, even if the body does not rot, it is because the tomb is tightly sealed, the coffin is well sealed, and all kinds of spices and preservatives piled in the body are protected.

Fifth, the sudden decay of Cixi's corpse should be related to the rapid oxidation reaction when the tomb was opened.

Sixth: Cixi's body was exposed to the sun for more than 40 days, and the ground was so wet that the spices on Cixi fell to the ground, which would ferment long hair at this suitable temperature and humidity and surround Cixi's body.

Let's just say it's normal and self-defeating.

There are many stories and legends about Empress Dowager Cixi, but the most comprehensive, the closest to historical facts and the most wonderful is The Romance of Empress Dowager Cixi carefully written by Mr. Xu Yufu.

Xu Yufu's "The Empress Dowager Cixi" is now made into a hardcover gift box version by beijing institute of technology press, which is similar to the Romance of the Former Han Dynasty, the Romance of the Later Han Dynasty, the Romance of the Jin Dynasty, the Romance of the North and the South, the Romance of Tang Shi, the Romance of the Five Dynasties, the Romance of the Song and Yuan Dynasties and the Romance of the Ming Dynasty written by historian Cai Dongfan. A full set of twelve volumes and six volumes * * * are sold in the same box, and all twelve volumes have been completely revised and not abridged. Now I'm giving them the headline of the event, and the group purchase price is 165, which is equivalent to a book 13 yuan, which is quite valuable.

Cai Dongfan's eleven books, in particular, span from Qin Shihuang to nine years of the Republic of China, 2 166 years, with long content span, many characters and huge system, which is the most historical romance.

Because of this set of books, Cai Dongfan is known as "a generation of historians, a thousand years of writings".

Gu Jiegang, a famous historian, is a loyal reader of this set of books. He commented on this book: "It is better to read Cai Dongfan than to read the twenty-four histories! General historical romance has been published in the past, but it seems difficult to compare with Mr. Cai Dongfan's. Mr Cai takes a very serious attitude towards the use and selection of historical materials. In my opinion, the second edition of this book can be used not only as a reading for ordinary people, but also as a reference for people who love history, because a twenty-four history is too heavy for even historical experts to recite completely. It is better to browse this relationship at will, which may have an outline effect. "
