Ulan's Different Photography Strategies

Everyone knows that Wulanbutong is beautiful, but if you want to take pictures in this place, you have to choose a good location. Today, Bian Xiao recommended some good places to take photos, hoping to help your trip.

Photography location recommendation

Wulanbu series is a grassland with many landforms. From birch forest, Jiapigou, Xiaoya Lake, Colorful Mountain to the Grand Canyon, everything is available. If you are a master photographer, you might as well follow me to different new photography spots in Ulan.

Herbal Aobao: It can be described as "colorful in four seasons". I suggest you come here, because it covers the all-terrain landscape of Mongolian customs.

Hundake Sandy Land: The rare landscape change of sandy grassland is an important reason why I suggest you take photos here. The scene of several scattered herders and off-road vehicles galloping was a blockbuster.

Hongshan Ranch: This is private property and can only be booked in advance. If you want to shoot spectacular grassland masterpieces, I suggest you book online in advance. It is worth mentioning that Mongolian costumes can also be provided as props there.

About photography, it may be necessary to introduce more, because this is an artistic paradise for photographers. Here are a few scenic spots with good winter photography in Xueba.

A, AoBao figure:

Sunrise in Baotu Mountain. Near Baotu Mountain, the bare forest was a little yellow by the sun, as if autumn reappeared.

B. Beigou:

Sheep and horses in the small village shuttle through it, standing on the hill next to the village in the sunset, with smoke curling from the kitchen and snow-capped mountains in the twilight;

C. Xiaohongshan:

A beautiful small village on the edge of the grassland. You can shoot the sunrise and sunset on Xiaohong Mountain in the morning and evening, and the scenery around the village is also good.

D, toad dam:

Hamaba's selfless gift has also won many photographers gold and silver awards in different film competitions at home and abroad. They can shoot medium and large scenes at the top of the dam and small scenes at the bottom of the ditch. There are herds and hedges at the bottom of the ditch, forming an idyllic scenery. In winter, they can take pictures in the morning and afternoon because of the deflection of light all day.

E. Xiaohe Head:

These floating steamed buns are called "snow buns" by local people. In addition, there is clear ice at the head of the river in winter, willow trees on the ice, water mist in the morning and evening, and birch trees on both sides of the river. It is easy to have rime in winter, which is very suitable for shooting sunrise, sunset and birch trees in the morning and evening;

F. Beigou:

Beigou is from north to south, and the terrain is changeable. In addition, blue sky, white clouds, cattle, sheep and green grass are all very suitable for shooting in the morning and evening. It is the high-frequency area produced by "film" and also a battleground for photographers.

G. Baijiawopu:

As the sun sets, climb the mountain slowly, and the vast snowfield is in front of you! Cloud level, mountain level, snow level, tree level and light level are absolutely shocking scenes;

H. Poplar back:

Yangshubei, located in different development zones in Wulan, is a newly developed scenic spot in recent years. The climate here is humid in winter, and there are many birch trees. Generally, it grows on the shady side of the mountain, with windy terrain and a large area of rime landscape. The scene is simple and clean, and few people participate, so it is suitable for shooting the misty light and shadow of the mountain ridge before sunset.

I. Horse

You can also take part in the shooting of riding and running in the snow. Horse racing shooting in the snow in winter is far better than in summer and autumn. The images of mane, ponytail, snow splashing and breathing are dynamic and magnificent!

: 4 suggestions on photographic equipment

1. battery: when shooting in winter, the first thing to consider is the shrinkage of battery capacity. At extremely low temperature, the actual capacity of the battery is only about 2/3 of that in summer. Digital camera can't work without power supply, so the first thing to pay attention to is the power supply of the camera. Need to prepare several sets of spare batteries.

2. Gloves: Don't forget to bring a pair of warm gloves, a pair of silk or cotton gloves and thick duck down fingerless gloves, or your fingers will be frostbitten when you take pictures at a low temperature of MINUS 30 degrees.

3. Camera protection: Don't forget to put a camera cover on the camera as a "down jacket", otherwise it will be easily overlooked because of the low outdoor temperature. And the weather is changeable, and there may be rain and snow in the creation. We should equip the camera bag with a corresponding rain cover. If the camera bag itself comes with a rain cover, it is naturally the best. If you really have no choice, you can use thick plastic bags for emergency.

4.UV mirror: It is best to take a UV mirror when going out to take pictures. It can not only help photographers block some ultraviolet rays to make imaging more accurate, but also protect our lens.

5. Camera anti-fog cover: It is also a good choice to buy some camera anti-fog covers in winter. However, it should be noted that the anti-fog cover itself cannot generate heat, so it will also face problems such as low-temperature battery failure when it is outdoors for a long time.

: hint

1. Don't take your camera out of your camera bag immediately after you come back from the outdoors. When the temperature in the camera bag is close to the indoor temperature, it takes at least half an hour to an hour to take it out. This good habit can avoid many camera component failures caused by improper operation.

Don't turn on the camera in case the dew condenses. Keep it in a dry indoor environment and turn it on after the water evaporates! And be sure not to remove the lens from the fuselage, otherwise it will lead to more serious condensation.

3. Be careful not to let the frozen metal part of the camera directly contact the facial skin, and be careful not to inhale air into the camera when taking pictures or shooting in cold snow or freezing conditions.
