However, Hawking did not defend what he said because others questioned him. Surprisingly, he even put forward a plan to shoot stars according to what he said. The reason why he put forward this plan is that he wants to prove that aliens are spying on human daily life by photographing aliens.

At present, there is no evidence to prove the existence of aliens, let alone that aliens are spying on human life. Therefore, Hawking's statement is actually just a guess. Whether this proof is correct or not depends on people's exploration in the future.
