Three flowers were painted in succession, and the second one completed by 17 17 was the best. It depicts a group of lovers leaving the mythical island of love and returning to real life. The gestures of each character are endowed with symbolic meanings related to love. The painter controls his feelings with reason and uses wonderful colors in his brushwork, thus establishing a typical image of a delicate and slim woman. This work is regarded as Eduardo's most outstanding work on a large number of love themes, which laid the foundation for the emergence of Rococo painting and provided a model for Rococo painters.
