Ten taboos for taking pictures
1, no theme
Beginners of photography often want to take pictures of all the beautiful scenery they see, for fear of missing any detail. But every time I see my photos, I always feel that the scenery in the photos is not as beautiful as I saw, or even chaotic. This is precisely because we put too many scenery in the picture when shooting.
2, the proportion is too large.
When a novice shoots, some people think that the greater the proportion of the theme in the picture, the better, so they pull the scene to be shot very close until the picture can't fit. The scenery in these photos is just like sticking to the face, which makes people feel depressed and breathless.
3. The inclination of the building
Building tilt is a taboo in photography. Unless the photographer deliberately pursues a certain effect or expresses a certain special emotion, the inclination of the building often gives people a feeling of extreme instability, which makes the viewer feel that shooting is arbitrary and unrealistic.
4. Hit your head against the wall
Generally speaking, when shooting a profile portrait or an object with a forward posture, we should leave as much space as possible where people face or move, so that people's sight can be released.
5, the attachment is tangled.
When shooting, the choice of background is very important. It is necessary to avoid the phenomenon of branches and chimneys overhead, which will bring embarrassing visual effects. Moreover, the appearance of attachments will seriously affect the expression of the theme, distract the viewer's attention, and even bring inexplicable psychological feelings to the viewer.
6, picture segmentation
When shooting, the position of the horizon is not arranged well, so that it is located in the center of the picture, which may cause the subject and background to be evenly distributed on both sides of the picture, or cause the subject and supporting roles to be evenly distributed on both sides of the picture, which will make the picture feel split in two. Because the picture is divided into two parts, it will lead to the strength of the picture, which will make the theme unclear and lack a sense of unity and harmony.
7. usurp the role of master
Overexpressing the foil in the picture, or framing the foil with too eye-catching colors and shapes will lead to the viewer's excessive attention being attracted by the foil, thus making the subject in a secondary position. This image of putting the cart before the horse will not be able to express what the photographer wants to express, and even lead the viewer to misunderstand the meaning of the work.
8. This picture is unbalanced
The overall tonality and tone structure are not paid attention to when composing a composition, which leads to the disharmony between the color and atmosphere of the picture and affects the photo-taking effect; Or when you don't pay attention to the picture echo relationship, which leads to the viewer's depression and tension, it is called picture imbalance.
9. The exit is blocked
When taking pictures and composing, the main line in the picture is incomplete, cut by the waist, or the "channel" in the picture is cut off. This kind of composition is easy to cause a closed psychological effect, which makes the audience feel nervous and depressed. In addition, such a composition often leads to the "cut-off" of the viewer's thinking because of the crowded and isolated vision, which makes the viewer unable to better understand the artistic conception and implication of the picture.
10. The plants in the picture are nowhere to be found.
In photo composition, when vertical lines appear, for example, shoot a tree, shoot the roots; If you can't photograph the roots, you must explain their foothold. Because when you shoot trees, houses and roads, cut the bottom of the tree from the middle, and the tree will float, and the picture will look strange and uncomfortable.
