What are the skills of ecological shooting?

What are the skills of ecological shooting? The so-called "photography" is to shoot some parts or all of the scenery and attract the audience with the beauty of the unique characteristics of the subject. However, when shooting close-ups, it is usually because the camera is very close to the subject, and it is easy to affect the image quality because of the unstable grip of the camera. So, what are the skills of eco-shooting? Let's have a look!

First, the shooting equipment of the compound eye world

Macro shooting does not have high requirements for the fuselage, so it is not recommended to use a high-end full-frame machine. First, because the full-frame machine is relatively heavy, it can reduce the shooting burden for macro shooting, because all the shooting methods I am talking about here are hand-held rather than shelf shooting. Second, because the picture quality of the full-frame machine is not superior to that of the editing machine, high ISO and fast autofocus are the chicken ribs of macro shooting. Therefore, it is recommended to use a general shearing machine. I use Nikon D7000.

Compared with the fuselage, macro shooting requires more lenses. As we often say, it is a bit difficult for Budweiser to achieve higher picture quality when shooting bugs. Although Budweiser can achieve the magnification of 1: 1, it is difficult to shoot bugs due to the limitation of focal length. By closing the camera ring, the magnification is improved and the image quality is reduced, so Budweiser is suitable for shooting macro and relatively large bugs in the environment. For bugs, it is recommended to take a macro of 50-60 focal length. I use the old Nikon macro head 55 /3. 5 Close-up lens ring can achieve greater magnification. This lens is not expensive, but it has high definition and is worth having.

The highest macro requirement should be light. When the light is good, the dog's head also appears in large pieces, which is what I have been improving. Generally, both single light and double light can be released, and double light can bring more picture level changes and different effects. I use Nikon R 1C 1 dual lights, which is of course more expensive. For the suggestion of pursuing cost performance, you can DIY double lights yourself, and there are tutorials online. Of course, lights are not enough. To achieve a soft picture, there must be soft light. There are many ways to soften light, and as far as I know, there are no fewer than 20. Strong hands-on ability can DIY soft mask. I use DIY.

Two-lamp lighting method: one overhead lamp and one side lamp.

Because of the use of double lights, the effect of photos is high-definition and bright whether they are taken during the day or at night. I use the horn macro bracket as the lamp holder, and adopt the light distribution mode of one top lamp and one side lamp. The ceiling lamp can illuminate both the main body and the background, and the side lamps can be flexibly arranged according to actual needs.

TTL+EV is adopted, because the macro environment is complex and the focusing distance is relatively close, so TTL is not accurate in most cases. With EV alignment, the ideal effect can be achieved. You can take photos in advance to see the exposure, and then adjust the size of EV. Of course, manual exposure is also a good choice if there is no TTL light. You can take photos in advance to see the exposure according to the actual environment, and then adjust the exposure index.

Thirdly, manual focusing mode ensures high definition and clear image quality.

1, macro shooting needs to get the lens very close. What is the focal length?

Because the bug I photographed is relatively small, the focusing distance is relatively close, generally within 15cm.

2. It is difficult to focus manually. Do you have any suggestions?

At macro, autofocus is actually slow and the focusing is not accurate enough, so manual focusing is generally used. Shooting bugs usually focuses on the eyes. I moved back and forth to focus.

Macro focusing is very strict, and compound eyes will appear clearly after good focusing and magnification. So you can zoom in several times with the camera after shooting to see if the compound eye comes out. If the focus is not correct, you can take more shots.

3. How can we shoot stably and ensure the quality of the work is high-definition and sharp?

The vibration of the camera can easily reduce the clarity of the image quality. The way is to train your hand stability and ensure a certain high shutter. The shutter is preferably between 80 and 200, and I usually have about 100 according to the situation. Because you have to shoot with a camera and a lamp holder for a long time, breathing during shooting is also very important. Take a deep breath and adjust your breath. The stability of your opponent is also helpful. You can shoot more when shooting to ensure the chances of making a film. In windy weather, you can buy a windproof clip to hold the leaves.

Four or four tips to prevent bugs from escaping.

Because the camera is close to the insect, it will make the insect panic. The following four points can prevent insects from escaping.

1. The temperature is relatively high during the day, and insects are very active. It is difficult to photograph still insects. You can try shooting them at night or early in the morning. At night, the temperature is low, and the activities of insects are slow. Even some bugs fall asleep in the middle of the night, but they can't wake up to let you toss. In the morning, the temperature is also low. In wet or foggy weather, the insect body is easy to condense water droplets, making it difficult for the insect body to move. This is a good time to shoot insects, and insects are beautiful. There are many mosquitoes at night, so take medicine to prevent mosquitoes.

2. Make small moves when shooting bugs. You can keep a certain distance from the bug first, and then slowly extend the lens to the bug. Don't make big moves as soon as you come up. The camera pounced on the bug, which was easily scared away. In addition, many bugs have the habit of nostalgia. Even if it flies, it may return to its original place after a while, so that it can stay in place and observe, and you don't have to keep chasing bugs.

3. Sometimes the bugs are hidden in the leaves, so it is easy for the camera to touch the leaves and scare the bugs away. At this time, you can gently cut off the blocked leaves with small scissors. There is another use of bringing small scissors, which can cut off the messy background, and the photos taken at this time will be cleaner.

Some insects are too active, such as ants and spiders. You can try to keep chasing and capture the moment when it stops. There are insects that are usually motionless when hunting, which is also a good time to shoot.
