1935 was born in Shanghai, and 1949 came from Shanghai to settle in Hong Kong. He started as a photographer's assistant to Junxiong Luo in South China Film Studio, and two years later he signed a contract with Xinhua Film Company to become a photographer. The first famous film was The Watermelon Picker directed by Nan Jiang.

1964, Teng Hung Hsu joined Xiao as a photographer, screenwriter and assistant director. He created the director's Ten Cents, and served as an assistant director in He's Blood under Peony Flowers and Tiger Generals and Enemies. 1965 signed a director contract with Shao and was promoted to director. The first film is "The Wonder of the Jianghu", which is one of the main characters of Shao's new martial arts film. Later, he directed many films, such as Qin Jian Enqiu, Excalibur Shakes the Jianghu, Elvis Presley, Jade-faced Flying Fox, Small, etc.

197 1 year, Teng Hung Hsu left Shaw for Jiahe to be the director of the Chinese version (the Japanese version was made by Kimiyoshi Yasuda) of the film "One-armed Knife vs. Blind Man" jointly produced by Jiahe Company and Japanese actor Katsutaro. In the same year, Jiahe supported him to set up a hard-working film company in Taiwan Province Province, and began to shoot films such as Watching It Alone, Chivalrous Man, A Jiao, Er Qiao, Night Watch and so on.

From 65438 to 0980, Teng Hung Hsu returned to Hongkong and worked as a manager in Tiangong Printing Company, now living in Taiwan Province.
