When the hand is shaking badly, the demand for shutter speed is naturally higher, especially when using telephoto above 300mm! If you want to keep your hands stable, the key is not only your hands, but also your body posture. Only by maintaining the most stable sitting or standing posture can your hands hold the camera steady. Generally speaking, if you don't use a tripod, squatting or sitting is the most helpful and relatively labor-saving. If you hold your hand properly, you can shoot still birds clearly without using high shutter speed, which means you can use smaller aperture and lower ISO value to get better picture quality!
