Teachers in the Department of Geodesy and Engineering Survey pay attention to the combination of basic theory and practical operation. While explaining a lot of basic measurement and data processing theories to students, we also arranged enough internship opportunities, which enabled students to master not only the knowledge of measurement theory, but also the calibration and operation methods of modern conventional measuring instruments, thus cultivating students' ability to undertake a certain measurement production task. (Department of Topography and Cadastral Surveying) The Department of Topography and Cadastral Surveying is responsible for the teaching and topographic practice of land management, cadastral surveying and mapping, real estate surveying and mapping and all majors in our school.

It also undertook the compilation of vocational skills training materials for surveying and mapping industry issued by the Personnel Department of the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping and the Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center of the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, and compiled two teaching materials, Fundamentals of Surveying and Cadastral Surveying and Mapping, which were officially published by Harbin Map Publishing House in June 2006, with 5438+0, and were used for skills appraisal training in the national surveying and mapping industry. In 2004, the textbook won the "First Prize of Teaching Achievements of Vocational Education in Henan Province". This teaching department mainly undertakes the teaching of topography, cadastral surveying and mapping, real estate surveying and mapping, land management, land economics, land use planning, land resources science, land law, village planning, construction land management, real estate appraisal and other courses, as well as field work during recess and Dengfeng. At the same time, it also undertakes the teaching task of correspondence station of Wuhan University.

Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (teaching department of aerial photogrammetry and remote sensing) is a technology, science and technology that mainly uses ground photography, aerial photography and remote sensing to obtain the image information of the object of interest and its related digital information, and then measures and interprets the obtained image to obtain reliable information of the studied object and its environment.
This major aims to cultivate front-line technical talents who have the basic knowledge of photogrammetry and remote sensing image acquisition, image information processing, image interpretation and analysis, and the application of computer vision and electronic technology, master the principles and methods of extracting three-dimensional spatial information from images and identifying the target attributes on images, and can independently engage in the production, development and management of photogrammetry, remote sensing and close-range photogrammetry.
Graduates can engage in the production, design, planning and management of photogrammetry and remote sensing in relevant scientific research departments such as surveying and mapping, remote sensing, water conservancy, electric power, transportation, petroleum, mining, national defense, military industry, medicine, urban construction, planning, surveying, cultural relics protection, aerospace photography and electronic technology application.
The correspondence station of Adult Education College of Wuhan University has a sub-station in our school. Students majoring in photogrammetry can continue to study at correspondence stations while taking part in work.

Equipped with instrument maintenance personnel, can carry out daily maintenance and repair of optical instruments.
