Resume

Graduated from Beijing Broadcasting Institute in July 1984 with a bachelor's degree in News Photography from the Television Department. From April 1992 to March 1995, he studied postgraduate courses at the School of Liberal Arts, Seijo University, Japan, and obtained a master's degree in aesthetics and art history. In June 1995, he returned to work in China and served as a professor at the School of Television and Director of the Television Program Research Institute of Communication University of China. From 2001 to 2005, he studied at Beijing Normal University for a doctorate in folklore. He has successively served as a judge for the "Horse Award", a government award organized by the Ministry of Culture, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television; a judge for the documentary section of the Golden Eagle Award; and a judge for the National Documentary Academic Awards hosted by the China Documentary Academic Committee. At the same time, he also participated in the planning activities of large-scale TV series produced by CCTV, Beijing TV, Hebei TV, China Educational TV, etc. Many of his works won the "Five Ones" Engineering Award, the "Rainbow Award" and other awards.
