What's the difference between ct and CT?

Different working principles have different application scopes.

1. Tomography refers to obtaining continuous two-dimensional images by rotating the detector and X-ray source around the patient, and then constructing a three-dimensional model based on these images. CT is a specific application of tomography. X-ray is combined with computer technology, and multiple 2D slice images are collected and processed by computer to restore the three-dimensional structure of human body.

2. Tomography is usually used to capture detailed images of a specific area, such as the head, chest or a part of a limb. CT is more widely used in imaging all parts of the body, which can provide more comprehensive and detailed human anatomical structure.
