Zhuocun is a "Sakura Village". Cherry blossoms are everywhere in the village, and there are cherry blossoms at the door of every household. There are 53,560 cherry blossoms planted in the village, making it the largest cherry blossom viewing resort in northern China, and tourism has become one of the most important industries in Zhuocun.
Zhuocun has a long history. Formed in the Yuan Dynasty around 1300, it has a history of more than 700 years. The name of the village comes from "Songs of the South": Canglang water is crystal clear and can support my tassels, while Canglang water is turbid and can support my feet. A village with rich cultural connotations.
Zhuocun is the first batch of "beautiful and livable villages" evaluated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and was awarded the title of "the most beautiful village in China" by People's Daily on 20 17. Strolling along Sakura Avenue, you may not notice that the villagers have moved into neat villas.
In addition to villas, there are many old houses in the village, with cherry blossoms and a more rustic atmosphere. Sakura Road in the village is the most famous cherry blossom viewing resort. Most tourists come to this road because the cherry trees on the roadside are particularly dense, forming a cherry blossom tunnel.
The roadside cherry trees stand next to each other, and the cherry blossoms grow in the middle, and the branches and leaves are staggered, covering the sky. This is a rare spectacle of cherry blossom tunnel in China, and it has also become a place where tourists compete to punch in.
The common cherry blossoms in Zhuocun are very large, and the largest cherry blossom has a DBH of more than 40cm. Late April is the best flower viewing period. When the wind blows, the petals of cherry blossoms fall one after another, just like a sakura rain.
This is a village famous for all kinds of flowers and fruits. In addition to cherry blossoms, grapes, peaches, pears and other fruits are widely planted, and an industrial park has been built in the village for food processing, making it a famous wealthy village in the province.
