Why is our motherland strong?

Look, how majestic our Great Wall is, soaring in the sky like a dragon. It is telling people about the magnificent mountains and rivers of the motherland, the splendid culture of the motherland, the wisdom and strength of the Chinese nation, and it is solemnly announcing to the world that our motherland is strong!

With the rapid development of the motherland, great changes have taken place in our hometown. Although it is not as beautiful and prosperous as a big city, we have scenic spots with charming scenery, mountains and peaks, and towering seven-star mountains. Below the mountain peak is a natural lake, where many mountain springs gather. The lake is as clear as a mirror. Standing by the lake, you can see fish swimming in the water.

My hometown also has the famous Anbang River Wetland Park and Ziyunling Forest Park. Every year in early May, the mountains and plains of Ziyunling are covered with azaleas. Flowers are colorful, red as fire and pink as clouds. Looking up at the ridge, a sea of flowers is beautiful. Like patches of ziyun falling on the green hills. At this time of year, many tourists and photographers gather in this sea of flowers to play.

There are wide and flat cement roads in my hometown. During the day, the roads are full of vehicles. At night, the streets and alleys are brightly lit, and tall buildings rise from the ground, showing the rapid and powerful development of my hometown!

The motherland is developing and prospering. Growing up in a lovely motherland and living in a beautiful hometown, I feel gratified and proud.
