Yuan Minghui's Macro Photography Works

Yuan Minghui's macro photography works: the amazing and dreamy world of macro photography.

Tutor of Wild China Nature Image School and Grand Slam winner of international professional nature photography competition, he used macro photography to show a stunning and dreamy world and told his fairy tales with nature.

One summer evening, I walked past a bunch of cannas. I saw a row of holes with different sizes but similar shapes on a leaf of Canna, which were bitten by insects. Almost at the same time, I saw a jumping locust hiding in a hole in the leaves, hiding on the left side of the hole.

Because I have photographed various insects in the wild for a long time, I know their habits better, so I know that this locust will reappear in the hole of the leaves after sensing danger. So I squatted next to Canna and waited for about 10 minutes. When the locust appeared in the leaf hole again, I pressed the shutter continuously and took this photo.

At the moment, I feel that this jumping locust is playing hide-and-seek with me, and I am the final winner of the game. At this moment, the elephant jumping locust opened a window for me, and it seemed to communicate with me in a spiritual way.

In early spring, I passed a pond. Taxodium ascendens didn't grow new leaves, but the pond was covered with four leaves. The sun had set and the water began to dim. I want to catch this last light to take this photo.
