Where is the Loess Style Garden?

Suide Loess Style Garden is located in the hinterland of Longwan Ecological Zone, facing the old county town of Suide across the river, with a planned total area of about 4 square kilometers. At the beginning of 20 10, the county party committee and government started the construction of "China Suide Loess Culture and Customs Garden", and decided to build Longwan Ecological Zone into a tourist and cultural scenic spot that fully displays the unique culture of northern Shaanxi in five to 10 years.

With loess landscape as the carrier, human history and folk customs as the core, the Loess Customs Garden concentrates the characteristic historical folk culture, creates the "city living room" of Suide culture, and displays the customs of the Loess Plateau. The park is designed according to the plan of "one line, two wings, five districts and twenty-eight views". The "first line" means: the natural scenery and human landscape along the main road, and the Long Mai line with Longwan and Longgou as the core; The "two wings" are: the folk culture photography base in the first line and the military culture development area outside the first line; The "five zones" are: customs entry zone, Jingyuan Museum, military experience zone, religious culture zone and dry dock culture zone; The "Twenty-eight Scenes" are: Stone Soul Square, Cliff Stone Carving, Performing Arts Corridor, Customs Society, Folk Culture Village, Yangko Terrace, Yaoguping, Moqing, the Sound of Suona, Customs Valley, Liguangzhai, Houjunying, Zhongjunying, Longcheng Wu Shang, Li Guang Shooting Tiger, Warhorse Scream, Qian Jun Camp, Beacon Love and Five.

Stone Soul Square is the symbol and gateway of the scenic spot. The design scheme was creatively designed by the Architectural Environment Art Department of Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts, which combined the essence of Suide folk art, Suide stone carvings, archways, caves and other elements, and selected local stones as materials to form a magnificent stone lion lineup, reflecting the regionality, regionality and uniqueness of Suide folk art. The design won the silver prize of the fourth annual meeting of the Environmental Art Committee of China Artists Association.

The Stone Soul Plaza project is divided into two phases, one of which mainly includes: one is a pair of giant stone lions, with a height of 19.5 meters, completely different styles and magnificent momentum, which is unparalleled in the world. Second, there is a stone lion museum inside the giant stone lion, which houses more than 300 stone lions with different expressions, including Kangtou stone lion and Zhenshan stone lion. It is a sculpture art museum integrating nature, humanities, architecture, folk customs and stone lions. Third, 34 6.6-meter-high stone lions were built at the entrance of the square. Their lineup is rigorous and patchwork, which shows the essence of Suide's stone carving skills and folk art with a long history and exquisite craftsmanship. The fourth is to build a tourist service management center, with cultural supermarkets and parking lots on the two floors underground and service management centers on the two floors above ground. Fifth, a square shadow wall was built at the upper left of the entrance to the square. On the basis of traditional screen wall forms, traditional patterns such as Sumeru base, auspicious patterns, auspicious dragons and phoenixes, rich flowers and tortoise longevity complement each other, and the word "stone soul" in the center of the screen wall is masculine and dignified. The nine lions relief on the side wall of the visitor service center on the right side of the square is 25 meters wide and 5 meters high. It is magnificent, lifelike, beautifully carved and unique in style. Sixth, there are fences, beacon towers and other landscapes on the mountains on both sides of the ring square.

The second phase of Stone Soul Plaza is located behind the giant stone lions, covering an area of about 8,000 yuan. The design embodies the "beauty of the ten lions", mainly including the city gate tower, the stone drum, the totem pole of the four lions, and the cliff stone carvings. Among them, the totem pole of the Four Lions is 2 1 m high, with 7 floors in total. Five stone drums, 1 big 4 small. The diameter of the big stone drum is 8 meters, and the diameter of the small stone drum is 3 meters, which means "the grain is abundant" and expresses people's good wishes for good weather and good harvest every year. The gate tower is built in the north of the square, with a doorway below and a gate tower above. The entrance leads directly to the main road up the mountain, and the words "Go to the source and get the road" are written, which means that Suidehan and Suide people dare to be the first, and they are full of enthusiasm and all the best. On the cliffs on both sides of the square, there are inscriptions of "God bless the good" and more than 50 reliefs of few people.

With its profound cultural connotation, natural design concept, exquisite carving skills and rich loess cultural resources, the Loess Customs Garden will surely become a unique cultural tourism industry in northern Shaanxi and even the whole country, adding color to the hometown of stone carving in Suide, blending with the cliff stone carving landscape to form a magnificent picture, becoming a tourist attraction showing loess culture and Suide folk art, and further promoting the protection and development of rich cultural resources in our county. With the continuous development of scenic spots, it will certainly promote the development of tourism in our county and its surrounding areas, promote the increase of fiscal revenue and residents' income, and inject new vitality into the all-round economic and social development of the county.
