Lightning River in Guyuan, Hebei Province

Although we started planning before the festival, we didn't finally decide where to go until the National Day began. As time goes by, the holiday is coming to an end, so we decided to go to Bashang Grassland on June 4th 10 to inform everyone to prepare separately. By the time the last friend finished his work, it was already six o'clock in the afternoon. No one knew the route of Bashang grassland, but everyone was confident and agreed to start. This reminds me of a May Day 10 years ago. A group of friends agreed to travel to Xi, but the tickets were sold out. At night 10, none of them want to go back. Everyone thinks that they can go anywhere except Taiyuan. As a result, they bought the last few train tickets out of Taiyuan and went to Qinhuangdao to play! The tires of the car kept slipping for a while, and finally I arrived at the resort and saw that it was closed. Take a closer look, it turns out to be Grassland Lake Resort. No matter how much, enjoy the beautiful scenery first. Only we can play on the huge lake, isn't it more interesting? Although it is raining, although the autumn chill comes in waves, although we don't know where to live tonight, it doesn't affect our interest at this time!

At the lake, I met an old man who was grazing. He told us that it had been closed for two years. We were told just now that it was open for business. People here still have a weak concept of tourism, which needs to be strengthened! There is a resort across the street. Very crowded. So we went happily and saw a big sign standing next to a gas station, Lightning River Tourist Resort. When we entered the resort, it was already dark and it was raining harder and harder. The manager of the resort told us that they just closed today, but we came all the way, and they received us all day, but there were no vegetables, only fish. No problem, eating fish is enough! Eating all kinds of fish in the river, grabbing mutton and drinking wine from Inner Mongolia (I can't remember the names of fish and wine), we chatted with the manor manager. This is a reservoir cut off by the lightning river and surrounded by grasslands. There are many places with grass on the dam, but not many places with grass and water! Of course, here is one. This is the place where Louis Koo filmed the Qin Dynasty, and the award-winning works of General Shao Hua were also filmed here! Finally, he gave us promotional materials and VCD of landscape introduction, and left his business card, welcoming our friends in Shanxi to play. At this time, the rain has stopped and the stars in the sky are stinging our eyes. It would be better if it doesn't rain tomorrow. We are all looking forward to it!

The next morning, in order to watch the sunrise, everyone got up at 5 o'clock and came to the lake. After an hour's waiting, the scene of Qinghai Lake was repeated. It's cloudy, and the hope of watching the sunrise is ruined! Alas, at this moment, I remembered a famous saying by Bambusa bambusa, "Why do you have to recite so much!" "It rains as soon as he washes the car, and it rains as soon as I get to the lake to watch the sunrise. In the same boat! However, the scenery by the lake is worth a visit. Trees with golden leaves, snow-white bark and golden grass, horses grazing leisurely, and sparkling lakes, where fishermen live in huts and dry their fishing nets. Beautiful picture of autumn on the dam!

I also met two photographers from Jiangsu who got up early to shoot the sunrise. They told us in a chat that the military horse farm in Inner Mongolia has a good scenery and a mechanical forest farm. They just came from there, so they can't go this time. They must wait until next year. Anyway, it's no exaggeration to come to such a beautiful place once a year!

At 8 o'clock, after breakfast, the manor manager showed us another way back to Zhangjiakou. The scenery is not only good, but also there are few cars and no toll stations. The mileage is similar. After coming out of the villa, we toured along the water's edge and then rode horses. Riding here is really cheap, 20 yuan/hour, and you can also see the scenery around the lake. Just as the children began to play, it rained heavily again. Because we have to rush back to Taiyuan today, because of the repeated detention of the local people and the reluctance of the children, we can only embark on the road home. Take Zhangbei when you come and Chongli when you go back. Sure enough, as we said, the scenery is beautiful. For more than 200 kilometers, we walked from 10 in the morning to Zhangjiakou at 2: 30 in the afternoon. After dinner, return to Taiyuan at 9: 00 pm.
