What is the ending of Ashin's story?

Ashin's story ends: after her husband committed suicide, her favorite son Ashong left her forever; However, A Xin started his business at the age of 50, and finally owned the first 16 supermarket chain of Tiancang Enterprise at the age of 83 (1983).

Ashin's story concentrates the joys and sorrows of a great era on a seemingly weak but hardworking woman. Plus the acting skills of three actors who played A Xin, Ayako Kobayashi (childhood-A Xin), Nobuko Yinchuan (old age-A Xin) and Yoko Tanaka (teenager-A Xin).
