Photoshop creates beautiful pastel blue and purple lake scenery pictures of people

Blue-purple is more commonly used, but when mixing colors, do not turn all colors into blue-purple. You can keep the warm color in the mid-tones. You can add more light blue to the highlight area, and then darken the dark parts. This will make the picture more layered.
