Guilin tourism is mainly divided into two parts: Guilin city tour and Yangshuo tour.

First,? Guilin tourism.

Generally speaking, when traveling with a group in Guilin, the traditional projects are nothing more than Elephant Trunk Mountain, Fubo Mountain Park, Qixingyan Park and reed flute cave Park. In fact, these scenic spots are not much different from the city parks you have been to, except for two caves. If it is purely for the sake of scenery, you can also ignore it, and personal opinions are best not to be too colorful.

However, binjiang road is a must. When you visit along the Yangtze River in binjiang road, you can enjoy the landscape of Guilin-Luo Qing Belt and Hosta. Elephant trunk mountain park is also in this section.

Opposite binjiang road are all kinds of restaurants-Guangxi, Guilin, Japanese, Italian, and so on, as well as a large number of souvenir shops. At night, the lights here are bright and people are enthusiastic. There are stalls selling all kinds of small souvenirs on both sides of the street, including Guilin specialties, Guangxi specialties and even Vietnamese specialties. The more distinctive ones are: sweet-scented osmanthus sachets, dried sweet-scented osmanthus (which can be used to make tea or sweet-scented osmanthus sauce), hydrangea, silver ornaments, Siraitia grosvenorii (which can clear away heat and detoxify, and soak in water to cure colds), persimmons (which are very sweet) and so on.

There is also a scenic spot-jiefang bridge. 1 1 After getting off at the bus terminal, walk through jiefang bridge, get off the ladder, and sit on a high protective embankment, opposite Fubo Mountain, with a flowing water in front and reeds mixed in some places. It's best at night. When you look up, you can see the charming red sunset, which is embedded in the middle of several low-rise buildings, and there is a faint Hui Jin. May should be a hot season. Many people who live by the river can swim in the water. In some river sections, the current is fast and moving in the whirlpool, but people will drift with the current. After reading it for a long time, you will be moved-who said that this is not skill, not courage!

There is another such scenic spot, from Shanghai Road to Putuo Road, which is the direction of Guangxi Normal University Branch. Downstairs of Guilin Radio Station, you can also be quiet and alone with Guilin's landscape. On weekends, my classmates and I often go to this place by bike. We don't talk, and our mood follows the current, like aquatic plants. More interestingly, there are many stones of various shapes on the shore, which are suitable for splashing water or picking them up and coating them with indelible pigments, and then coating them with a layer of bright pigments, which is no less than a beautiful souvenir.

You can also go to the central square of Guilin in the evening. You can sit on the iron chair and watch the wide-screen news, blow the evening breeze, eat popcorn and chat. On major festivals, you can also enjoy the music fountain, which can reach a height of 60 meters. It is said to be the highest musical fountain in South China.

In addition-Zhengyang Street is also a must!

Zhengyang Street is the only pedestrian street in Guilin. Just opened less than a year ago, the block is neither wide nor long, but the whole street is neat and exquisite, and the facade decoration has its own characteristics, which is suitable for taking pictures. The main contents range from clothing to audio and video to diet to local products. You can also drink tea in the tea bar at night, and the consumption is generally not high.

Besides the above, if you have enough time, you can also enjoy the lakes in Guilin. There are many lakes in Guilin, among which Ronghu and Gui Hu are the best. Ronghu Lake is opposite Guilin Daily, facing Guilin Library and Guilin Hotel. There is also a horse stone tied with Huang Tingjian by the lake. I wonder if it's true. The ancient south gate on the north bank of Ronghu Lake was an ancient city in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is said that the big banyan tree in front was built when the city was built. The word "Ancient South Gate" is said to have been written by Guo Moruo. I have seen people fishing here in midsummer.

Gui Hu is in the direction of Xishan Park, and take bus 14 opposite Smile Hall. South of Gui Hu is Laorenshan, which is very quiet and free and suitable for meditation or chanting.

If it is not enough, you can also go to Yaoshan to play. Direction of Guilin Institute of Electronic Technology, take bus 10. In spring, the mountains are covered with red flowers, which are brilliant and extraordinary. It is the first choice for Guilin students to have a spring outing.

The main means of transportation in Guilin can be buses. The main road in Guilin is Zhongshan Road, and the bus 1 1 runs through the north and south ends of Zhongshan Road. It's not expensive to take a taxi, starting from 6 yuan.

Third, a trip to Yangshuo.

There are two ways to swim in Yangshuo. One is to take a cruise from Guilin and see the scenery of Lijiang River all the way; The other is the method that most foreigners usually try: renting a mountain bike to ride from Guilin to Yangshuo.

I happened to have tried both of them, so let's compare them.

First, get on the boat at Guilin Pier (Binjiang Avenue near jiefang bridge). Tickets are divided into several grades, generally around 80 yuan, including Chinese food, luxury and 200 yuan. There seems to be a guide to explain. The journey takes about half a day.

It's great to see the scenery along the river. This is a sentence from others:

"20 kilometers from Elephant Trunk Mountain to Qifeng Town is a prelude to the scenery of Lijiang River. Lijiang River runs between Elephant Trunk Mountain, Baota shan and Jingping Mountain, and goes straight to Qifeng Town where there are many strange peaks. ?

After Qifeng Town, the "prelude" was immediately opened. All the way around the mountain, the peaks turn around, and unconsciously I have seen "nine cows and three continents". The peaks and forests are one after another and the scenery is getting better and better. ?

From the lawn, people are shown different pictures that are strange, unique, wonderful, dangerous and quiet, and the climax is one after another. The Erlang Gorge, which is "the wonder of the Three Gorges", is the first climax. "Strange things are in the world" is the second climax; And "Yellow Cloth Reflection" is the third climax. Xing Ping Jia Sheng pushed the whole climax to the peak. ?

It has come to an end after entering Luosi Mountain. Vivid "beauty looking in the mirror", "green snail lying on the river" and "double carp dating" echo the pictographic landscape of the prelude. ?

From Longtou Mountain to Lingren Mountain, there are landscapes of "green flowers" and "scholars watching the list", allowing tourists to witness the fragrance of Lijiang River again. This is the "aftertaste" of the Lijiang River scenery. ?

Lijiang River is a long corridor of poems, or a long scroll of paintings? , the long river of beauty. "

After enjoying the beautiful scenery of Lijiang River, it's time to experience another kind of humor.

Yangshuo West Street is the highlight. It is said that this street is the place where foreigners gather the most in China. It is not so much a street as an "alley", which is more appropriate and tortuous. Half of the streets are exotic bars and restaurants, and the other half are antique and calligraphy and painting in China. Walking in the meantime, you will wonder where you are. Sitting in a small bar, drinking limoncello and red wine made by the owner, with melodious and vivid saxophone in his ear, opposite or next to a table of foreign young men and women playing China cards, talking and laughing in English.

You can also choose another night, that is, go to the food stall. Near the bus station in Yangshuo, there is a large food stall, dim light bulbs and delicious dishes all over the street. The dish is the size of a washbasin, and a plate of Lijiang fish is enough for four or five people. There are also fried spinach with fermented bean curd and small screws that can't be eaten anywhere else. It's really unbearable!

Most shops in this street, from shopkeepers to shop assistants, are proficient in English. Even four or five-year-old children behind the street speak with a purer foreign accent than college graduates. Therefore, oral English classes in Guilin generally choose Yangshuo West Street as a free outdoor class.

On New Year's Day, there will be a beer festival in West Street. All the white people in the street are holding big beer glasses, drinking loudly and swallowing generously, which are described by the common adjectives in the news: the ocean of joy.

West Street is a quiet and emotional place, not noisy, not melodramatic, elegant and leisurely. Of course, behind this emotion, material support is needed.

Another way is to go to Yangshuo by bike.

There are also scenery along the way! It takes about 40 minutes to ride from Guilin to Yanshan, and there are two places to play in Yanshan. One is Yanshan Botanical Garden. It is one of the largest botanical gardens in Guangxi. There are bamboo, ginkgo, olives and prurigo (scratching the trunk by hand makes the branches and leaves tremble, as if they are ticklish), which is very beautiful.

The other is Yanshan Park. Opposite the botanical garden, there is a dirt road, and now it is also an agricultural technical school. It is said that this place used to be the private residence of a big landlord with a water dungeon, but now it has become a large-scale water pavilion, scarlet. There is an arch bridge paved with bluestone in the park, and the steps above are green with moss, which is quite primitive. As well as pavilions, mountains and rivers, caves and buildings, are different from Jiangnan gardens.

Further on, there are endless fields on both sides, and behind the fields are endless mountains with different expressions. I feel so happy and spacious in Shu Lang!

It takes about three or four hours to reach Yangshuo by bike. After a short rest, you can leave for Moon Mountain, which is a crescent-shaped hollow mountain in Guilin, hence its name. It is said that George H.W. Bush climbed it himself, intending to "pick the moon", but unfortunately, although it was close at hand, it was far away, so he had to look at it from a distance and sigh.

The next target is the big banyan tree. The ticket is about 16 yuan, where Sanjie Liu sang. There is not much in it, but there is a surprisingly big banyan tree. Because there are too many fibrous roots, we have to use cement to make another pillar. It's hard to tell the difference between true and false. You can also sit on the bamboo raft here. The water looks shallow, but it is not. Be careful not to fall into the water.

Finally, the Black Dragon Pool. This is also a stalactite cave, similar to Qixingyan and Ludiyan.

In Yangshuo Post Office, you can choose a set of exquisite Guilin scenic postcards and send them to your friends or yourself. This postcard with Yangshuo postmark is also a great souvenir!

Part III: Diet

Guilin cuisine and Hunan cuisine are very similar in taste: spicy and oily. But lighter than the latter. Should be moderate. Must-taste dishes include: beer duck, Lijiang fish, stewed old duck with ginkgo biloba, and Lipu braised pork. It's delicious ... it feels best to eat at a food stall. The food consumption in Guilin is very low in the whole country, and seven or eight dishes with fish and meat are about 100 yuan.

The best places to eat these specialties are Wei Xiang Restaurant and Laoxiang Village, with branches in Zhongshan Road and Zhengyang Street.

If snacks are mentioned, there are traces.

On the sixth floor of Smile Hall on Zhongshan Road, there is a food street. Basically, you can find general food from all over the country here. Of course, you have to eat Guangxi flavor when you arrive in Guangxi. There are three kinds of unique rice noodles in Guangxi: Guilin rice noodles, Nanning Laoyou powder and Liuzhou snail powder. Guangdong also has rice rolls (also called Juan Fen). The first two can be eaten in the food court.

According to Guilin people, there are two kinds of rice noodles: one is cut powder, usually called flat powder, and the other is round powder. Guilin people generally call rice noodles directly, the former is smooth and the latter is slightly hard. There are only two sizes of Guilin rice noodles: barbecued pork and beef. The most authentic place to eat Guilin rice noodles is strongly recommended: there is a rice noodle shop (closed) opposite Guilin Rice Noodle Culture and Art Museum at the junction of Zhongshan Road, Guilin Evening News Agency and Guilin Library. It is delicious!

One yuan and fifty cents for a bowl of twenty-two, a big pot of hot bone soup in front of the store, and the powder is cooked in less than two minutes. Pour the marinade, cut some pieces of beef or barbecued pork, and the rest of the seasoning depends on you. The table is filled with dozens of pickled peppers, dried peppers, sour beans, sour radishes, sauerkraut, chopped green onion, coriander and garlic. White, pink, pepper, green, scallion, oily soup and fragrant marinade are inexplicably warm and attractive. And there is a way to eat in Guilin with the most local characteristics, that is, soybean milk rice noodles. This seems unheard of elsewhere.

Summer snacks must be cool except rice noodles. This is a small bowl developed by southerners on a hot day. There are mung beans, red beans, coix seed, tremella, white bean jelly, black bean jelly, red dates, raisins, diced apples, diced melons, diced watermelons and strawberries. Just take it out of the freezer and pour it with osmanthus syrup-fragrant and refreshing-an excellent cold drink to relieve summer heat!

Guilin acid again. There are more than ten kinds of pickled cucumber, pickled papaya, pickled cabbage, pickled lettuce, pickled ginger, pickled radish ... It tastes sweet and sour after freezing, and has the rich aroma of Bagui bubble tea, which is a great delicacy in the world. I'm sure girls will be very happy.

Part IV: Accommodation

Guilin's consumption is very low, but accommodation is not economical. Of course, it's cheaper than Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu. Forget the five-star one. It's too extravagant. Anyway, there are only two in Guilin: Daewoo and Yuan Di.

It is estimated that two or three stars will be enough for a self-help tour.

Close to the urban area are Lijiang Hotel (Samsung), Xiangjiang Hotel (Samsung), Friendship Hotel (two-star) and Ronghu Hotel (two-star). Friendship Hotel and Ronghu Hotel are both military hotels, one belongs to Guilin Army College and the other belongs to the 20th Division of Guangzhou Military Region. The standard room is about 100~ 180.

You can also choose a university hotel. For example, the hotel affiliated to Guilin University of Technology can be reached by taking the bus 10 from the railway station. The cost of 1/3 can be saved.

In Yangshuo, you can live in West Street. There are many small hotels on both sides, which are clean and tidy, and the fees are not high.

In addition, there are youth hostels in Guilin and Yangshuo, that is, three or four people live in one room. According to the student dormitory, they are equipped with TV, telephone, computer and so on. And they can cook for themselves. It's just that it's not cheap and suitable for long-term group travel.

Later words

Needless to say, Guilin is definitely one of the places you must visit in your life. You can get a real feeling of life from walking in the mountains and rivers-sentiment, emotion, sentiment ... The situation can be changed, and I believe that a trip to Guilin will definitely make you feel very fulfilled.

Go to Guilin and experience a wonderful journey!
