Notes on reading natural wild interest
First, collage is natural
All kinds of collected things can be fixed with white glue and other media and spliced in the frame.
Second, rub nature.
Show leaves on clothes, bags, cloth and even plaster by rubbing. I like rubbing very much, and I have done diy myself, so I will briefly describe several ways.
1. Natural beauty of rubbing leaves
Prepare paint, paper, cloth and leaves. Leaves with prominent veins are the best choice.
Paint paint on the back of the leaves, cover the leaves on the cloth before the paint dries out, cover the leaves with paper, squeeze them moderately, and print the paint on the cloth to show the veins of the leaves.
2. Knock out the original flavor-plant knocking.
Prepare leaves, soft linen (moderate water absorption, suitable for this type of rubbing), paper and knocking tools (small hammer, stone, etc.). ). Leaf selection mainly considers two aspects: moisture and pigment.
Choose fresh leaves, spread them on the cloth, put a piece of paper to absorb excess water, and finally cover with copy paper and beat well. Flap evenly and carefully, fully squeeze out the juice, and form a pure natural rubbing work.
3. Animal footprint rubbing-leaving the footprints of nature
Prepare gypsum, water and containers. Gypsum is recommended as "dental superhard gypsum", which requires less water, short drying time and high hardness.
When the footprints of animals or birds are found, water and gypsum are evenly mixed at the ratio of 1:4, and slowly and evenly poured into the footprints. When the plaster dries (10~ 15 minutes), you can dig out the footprints.
4. Handmade vein fossil memorial
Prepare gypsum, water, containers, plastic bags and favorite leaves. (Very similar to rubbing animal footprints)
Mix water and gypsum evenly according to a proper proportion, and pour them into plastic bags (plastic bags are used to isolate the plane and make the back of vein fossils smooth and level, leaving no traces of pollution), so that they naturally flow down in an arc. When the gypsum is slightly dry, put the leaves on it and slowly squeeze them to combine with the gypsum. When the gypsum is almost completely dry, slowly pull up the leaves from the petiole, and the vein fossils will be OK.
Ps: it can also be painted with pigment ~
Third, hand-painted nature.
Now everyone is used to recording with a camera, which is convenient and fast. However, many natural scientists still use painting to record. Hand-drawing may be time-consuming and unscientific, but the process of careful drawing can make our eyes observe more.
At this time, hand-drawing is just a way of recording and remembering, which allows you to observe more and get closer to nature itself. So painting skills are not important. Just draw casually and be happy. You can draw on paper, walls, stones and even your face.
Fourth, collect nature.
There are many things in nature that can be collected. Seeds floating on the sea, wind-borne seeds, dried fruits, stones, beans, cones, animal leftovers, rocks, shells, stained glass on the beach, animal skins, bird feathers, animal skulls … these are all things that the author will collect.
Fifth, enthusiastic interest in life.
It's interesting to collect small things in nature and put them in the center of the house.
Treasure can also be found in many places, such as mountainous rural areas, coastal areas, streams, campuses, parks and roadside trees, and even garbage dumps … as long as we are careful, there are treasures everywhere.
The author's major is photography, illustration, visual design, etc. It is conceivable that the graphic design of this book is full of beauty and the mood is very pleasant during reading.
This book brings us not only diy, but also a way of life. Observe, record and blend in with nature.
