Travel Notes of Ganzhou One-day Tour Introduction of Ganzhou One-day Tour

Ganzhou, located in the south of China, is a good place with beautiful scenery. The mountains here are full of elegant temperament and exquisite connotation quality, and traditional culture and food are well preserved. This is a good tourist destination. The following is the detailed experience of a one-day tour in Ganzhou.

Ganzhou is a low-key and slow-paced city, and its reputation is not obvious. Until recently, because of the importance of rare earth, more people began to pay attention to it. If you check the tourism information of Ganzhou, you will focus on the red hometown of Ruijin, Ningdu and Duyun, but the "red" here is not the "red" of the red revolution, but the natural red. Please follow the picture below and enjoy the natural red in Ganzhou slowly.

I caught the train early in the morning and took a seven-hour bus ride to Ganzhou, the cradle of Hakka and the red capital.

Ganzhou is the south gate of Jiangxi Province, close to Guangdong Province. Dayu County and Nanxiong County in Guangdong Province are under the jurisdiction of only one "Meiguan Ancient Road". People from the Central Plains who went south came here, some went south to Guangdong, and some stayed here to take root, forming the Hakka ethnic group in Ganzhou now.

Water tribute water forms "Jiangxi", which is the origin of Ganzhou's name. Jiangxi Province has always been called "Jiangxi". It can be seen how prominent Ganzhou is in the history of Jiangxi.

Ganzhou began to build a city in the Song Dynasty, and after hundreds of years, it became an important town in Jiangxi after careful management by the second generation of Jiang. It now governs 18 county and is the second largest city in Jiangxi province.

There is a pontoon bridge outside Jianchun Gate of Song City Wall. This way of connecting the two sides of the strait has been used since the Song Dynasty and has been well preserved so far. When you board the pontoon bridge, you immediately feel a quaint atmosphere. As the sun sets, the pontoon bridge is golden and red, which is a romantic place for couples and a frequent place for photographers. This is a kind of "red" in Ganzhou: sunset red.

Not far from Chunmen under construction, there is an ancient "Zaoer Lane", but it is deserted, with only worn-out doors and windows and hung red lanterns, which shows that it has been developed.

During the first civil war, Ganzhou was like an island surrounded by the Red Sea, but no matter Mao, Zhu and Peng, he could "change his flag". It stuck in this red land like a stubborn nail house, and this history didn't end until 1949. Every time I read this history, I will sigh: this is a small miracle.

Few people know that Ganzhou has always owned a piece of red land. More than ten kilometers north of the city, there is an endless red mountain range. Its name is Tongtianyan. This is another kind of "red" in Ganzhou: Danxia Red.

We take the 18 bus in the urban area and arrive at the gate of the scenic spot at 9:30, which takes 40 minutes. Tickets are in 60 yuan and Ctrip tickets are in 55 yuan.

Today is a sunny day, and there is no wind. The temperature in mountainous areas is 3~4 degrees lower than that in urban areas, but it is still very hot.

Walking in the scenic area is divided into two routes: inner ring and central ring. If you just enjoy the scenery, the inner ring road is enough. Dai Yu Bridge, Lover Bridge and Zodiac Garden in Central are lonely mountain roads except Lover Bridge.

(Tongtianyan guide map)

Tongtianyan is the representative place of Jiangnan Grottoes, because the south is mostly weathered rock, which is not suitable for stone carving. Stone carvings like Tongtianyan are very rare, hence the name "Jiangnan No.1 Grottoes".

No matter what white balance is set, the rock photos of Tongtianyan are red, which is a typical Danxia landform. These red rocks are carved with stone statues, and the Buddha statues that should be quiet are a little more vivid.

The only interesting thing about the center line is Lover Bridge, which is a suspension bridge across the canyon. Others are long mountain roads, and there is nothing to see.

I forgot to go back to Guiyan, and my clothes were so wet that I could wring water (mainly because of the high consumption in the later period of Central Road). It's almost 4 pm. The sun sank to rest behind the hill. Time to go home.

Back to the city, it was already evening, and I found a restaurant to eat in the pedestrian street of Zhonglian Mall. This restaurant is very good, with good service, good environment and moderate price. The picture below shows our order for three people 102 yuan. Highly recommended.

After dinner, I went to the pedestrian street, then took a bus back to the hotel and rested at Diaoyutai on Houde Road (this is the old city with simple construction). (The last bus in Ganzhou city is charged at 20:30, 1 yuan).

We stayed in Ganzhou for two nights. Hotel name: "Yuemei Hotel" is located in the old city. The appearance is the same as the lobby, but the room is good and the price is not expensive. Each pair 1 18 yuan. Breakfast buffet starts at 7:30. There are many kinds, and the taste is average (not to my liking). The front desk service is excellent, with questions and answers, detailed explanations and friendly attitude.

In fact, the people we met in Ganzhou are very kind, including food stall owners, bus drivers, taxi drivers, restaurant waiters, vendors and so on. According to people familiar with Ganzhou, this is the foundation laid by Jiang II.

Ganzhou is a good place, not far from Guangzhou, with convenient transportation and low consumption (three people and two days in 400 yuan/person, excluding return transportation). It's worth visiting from time to time. The only drawback is that Ganzhou cuisine is too salty and spicy to find a restaurant suitable for the stomach.
