How to install a surveillance camera

Tools/raw materials:

1, impact drill, spirit level, stay wire, wire pendant, wire stripper, chalk wire, electrician's knife, ladder, soldering iron, screwdriver, cross screwdriver, needle-nosed pliers, side cutters, digital multimeter or pointer multimeter, 500V insulated shaking table.

2. Plastic tube expander, machine screw, flat pad, spring washer, terminal, drill bit, solder, flux, insulating tape, plastic tape, various joints, etc.

Methods/steps

First, test before installation.

1, make a test line about 3 meters long with SYV75-3 video line, with BNC heads at both ends.

2, prepare a monitor or hard disk video recorder, hard disk video recorder can be embedded or PC, software configuration is complete.

3. Before starting the machine, make clear the power supply voltage of the camera and test the power supply voltage with a multimeter. The voltage deviation of the test is 10% of the standard voltage. Power supply exceeding this standard is prohibited.

4. Match a fixed camera with a lens, and pay attention to whether the interface between the lens and the camera is C-type interface or CS-type interface (remember this, otherwise screwing the C-type lens directly into the camera with CS-type interface may damage the CCD chip of the camera). If it is an integrated fixed camera, this step can be omitted.

5. When installing the lens, first remove the protective cover of the camera and lens, and then gently screw the lens into the lens interface of the camera to make it in place. For the automatic aperture lens, the control line of the lens should also be connected to the automatic aperture interface of the camera.

6. Test AGC on/off, ATW on/off, ALC/ELC, BLC on/off, LL/INT, video /DC and soft/sharp respectively.

7. For PTZ and fastball, encode the address, baud rate and protocol of the decoding board according to the instruction, and mark it with label paper. The address codes are coded according to the serial number of cameras. If there is no special requirement for the protocol, generally choose PELCO with baud rate of 2400KPS, and make corresponding settings on the hard disk video recorder or matrix.

8. According to the instructions, enter the fastball or Yuntai menu. For outdoor type, set the camera function to day-night conversion type.

9. In the farthest and nearest state, test the left and right rotation of the tripod head or fastball and zoom of the camera lens, and record the test results. Only those that meet the requirements can be installed, and those that do not meet the requirements can be returned to the manufacturer for maintenance.

10, set several fastball preset positions, and then test whether the fastball meets the design requirements by adjusting the preset points.

Second, start to install the camera: install the fastball and the Yuntai camera.

1. Please read the product manual carefully before installing and using the omni-directional intelligent high-speed spherical camera.

2. For the installation of fastball and pan-tilt lever, please refer to the installation of fixed camera lever.

3. Connect the bracket with the fastball provided by the manufacturer, and then connect the bracket and the upright post with galvanized screws.

4. The interior of the ball machine is composed of precise optical and electronic devices. During transportation, storage and installation, incorrect operation methods, such as heavy pressure and violent vibration, must be prevented, which will damage the product.

5. Please don't disassemble the internal device of the ball machine by yourself, so as not to affect the use.

6. When using, you must comply with all electrical safety standards and use the special power supply provided by the machine. During transmission, RS-485 and video signals should be kept at a sufficient distance from high-voltage equipment or cables. In a thunderstorm area, protective measures such as lightning protection and surge protection must be taken.

7. Don't use the high-speed ball outdoors directly to avoid the ball machine getting wet in the rain. Please don't use it in wet places. If installed outdoors, a sealed protective cover must be used, and it is absolutely forbidden to use it alone in the open air.

8. The temperature and humidity of the fastball installation environment meet the requirements of the product.

9. No matter whether the power of the spherical camera is turned on or not, don't aim the camera at the sun or extremely bright objects, and don't aim the camera at or monitor bright static objects for a long time.

10, do not use strong or abrasive cleaner to clean the main body of intelligent high-speed spherical camera. When cleaning dirt, use a dry cloth to clean it. When dirt is not easy to clean, gently wipe it with a neutral cleaner.

1 1. Use the intelligent high-speed spherical camera carefully to avoid being hit or shaken. If used improperly, it will be damaged.

Third, the installation of fixed cameras

1, according to the actual situation, choose the installation method, using vertical pole and horizontal bracket for outdoor installation, using horizontal bracket for indoor installation or ceiling hoisting, and installing universal steering clamp on the bracket, and fixing the connection between universal steering clamp and horizontal bracket with galvanized screws.

2. If vertical poles are used for installation, the height of vertical poles should be not less than 3.5m, the thickness of vertical pole fixing steel plate should be not less than 8mm, and the embedded parts of foundation should be made of16mm threaded round steel, with a height of 500mm and a width of 200mm .. At the installation position, dig out the soil, bury the embedded parts in the ground, with a height of 70mm higher than the ground, and then mark it as1:/. When pouring, wrap the threaded part above the ground with insulating tape, and install the monitoring column after 4-5 days.

3. Install the column. When installing, be careful that the paint on the surface of the column falls off. Fix with16mm nut. Add a washer and spring between the nut and the screw. The exposed height of the screw shall not exceed 10 mm, and the redundant part shall be cut off with a cutting machine. After fixing, apply antirust paint on screws and screws. After the antirust paint is dried, apply a layer of topcoat with the same color as the column.

4. Fix the bracket above the column with galvanized screws, fix the bottom cover of the protective cover on the universal movable clamp on the bracket, put the video cable and power cord into the protective cover, seal the wire with a sealing ring, and protect the bare wire between the protective cover and the column with a plastic hose of 16 mm ... Then weld the BNC head on the video cable, fix the camera to be tested, plug in the BNC head and Lotus head of the power supply, and plug it in after cutting off the 220V power supply. Fix the cover with screws, but don't screw all the screws to death.

5. If dirt is found on the camera lens, it must be wiped with special lens paper.

6. When installing the camera, be sure to pay attention to the ambient temperature.

7. Install the camera with infrared light and indoor bracket, please refer to the installation method in Article 4.

Four, hemisphere camera installation

1. The spherical camera is installed in the ceiling of the corridor or in the elevator car. The camera in the elevator car should be installed at the top of the elevator car and on the diagonal of the elevator operator, and can monitor the panoramic view in the elevator car.

2. The camera lens should aim at the monitoring target from the light source direction to avoid backlight installation; When the backlight needs to be installed, the contrast of the monitoring area should be reduced.

3. If a hemispherical camera with a metal shell is used, the metal shell must be insulated from the shell of the elevator car.

Five, the computer room equipment installation

1, the console should be placed firmly, straight, with the table level, and the control call position should meet the design requirements;

2. The distance between the TV wall and the wall should be at least 80cm, so as to provide sufficient maintenance space for the equipment. The distance between the TV wall and the console should be at least1m.

3. The installation of equipment and components in the rack shall be carried out after the rack is positioned and reinforced. The equipment installed on the rack shall be firm and upright, and the fixing screws, washers and spring washers on the rack shall be firm as required and shall not be omitted.

4. The contact between the connector and the equipment in the station should be reliable and the installation should be firm; Internal wiring shall comply with the design requirements, and there shall be no twisting and falling off.

5. The monitor can be installed on a fixed rack and cabinet, or on the console operation cabinet. When installed in the cabinet, ventilation and heat dissipation measures should be taken;

6, the installation position of the monitor should make the screen from the direct light of the outside world, when there is inevitable light, should add a hood to keep out;

7. The external adjustable part of the monitor should be exposed in a position convenient for operation, and a protective cover can be added.

8. The metal shell of all equipment in the machine room and the shell of the console and TV wall need to be reliably grounded, and the grounding resistance is not more than 4 ohms.

Six, monitoring line laying standards

1. Before threading, make-and-break test shall be conducted for the cable. There is no connector in the middle of the video line to ensure the smooth flow of the video line.

2. When pulling wires, the pulling force of each wire should not exceed 1 1kg, and the maximum pulling force of multiple wires should not exceed 40kg, so as not to stretch the cable conductor.

3. When passing through the pipe, the two ends of the pipe should be sheathed, and the joint of the pipe groove through which all cables pass should be smooth and burr-free, so as not to damage the cable.

4. The cable outside the outlet box is 50cm long and about 1.5m outside the control box. The remaining cables should be carefully wound and put into the outlet box or control box. At the junction box, the excess length is (length+width+depth)+50cm from the junction box entrance.

5, the rest of the lines should be grouped according to the grouping table, and tied directly from the outlet of the trunking. The spacing between binding points is not more than 50cm, and binding with iron wire or hard power cord is not allowed.

6. After the threading is completed, all cables shall be fully tested on and off, and all cores of each cable shall be tested. The problems that can be found in this test are disconnection, open circuit and wrong label.
