Later, while going up the mountain to collect medicine, the deer suddenly met his separated parents. The deer, wearing the copper bell presented by his granddaughter, reluctantly said goodbye to his grandparents. The production of this ink cartoon was resumed after nearly 20 years. Most of the crew members were novices. In addition, with the development of film and printing technology, the technical conditions and data of the past were no longer applicable. All these had to be re-experimented. and determine standards. After more than a year of hard work, the filming was finally completed. Female director Tang Cheng uses the art form of ink painting to make the film appear delicate, elegant and lyrical. The film won the Ministry of Culture's Outstanding Film Award and the Third China Film "Golden Rooster Award" for Best Art Film in 1983. In July of the same year, it won the Special Award for Best Animated Film at the 13th Moscow International Film Festival of the Soviet Union.
