Geographical location of daxianju

Xianju County is located between 28.5-29 north latitude and 120- 12 1 east longitude, with a linear distance of 57.6 kilometers from north to south and 63.6 kilometers from east to west. Xianju is located in the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta with Shanghai as the center and in the west of Taizhou, a new coastal city in Zhejiang Province. It faces the sea in the east, Yongjia in the south, Jinyun in the west and Pan 'an and Tiantai in the north. It is located at the intersection of Taizhou and Wenzhou, Lishui and Jinhua.

Shenxianju is located in the south of Baita Town, about 20 kilometers west of Xianju County. The original Xiqiao Temple in the scenic area.

According to "Guangxu Zhisi Temple View", this place was originally the land of Zhuo Xi, a Zen master of Xueya in the Song Dynasty. Later, it became a temple, where Wu Shilai, the imperial adviser of Zuodu in the Ming Dynasty, studied when he was young. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1583), monk Zheng Guang raised funds for reconstruction. Due to wind and rain erosion, the temple has now been destroyed as a market, and the bell has stopped ringing. However, its magnificent and unique natural scenery is well known and has become the most popular tourist attraction in the county.

According to statistics, there are tens of thousands of tourists here every year. Some people even revisit their old places again and again. Thus, it won many praises such as "Shenxianju" and "Taoyuan Wonderland". This landscape is a combination of dangerous peaks, quiet valleys, beautiful forests and strange waterfalls. One mountain, one water, one cliff, one cave, one stone and one peak are all unique, with an unusual, unexpected and incredible landscape pattern, with a total area of 15.8 square kilometers. There are more than 60 scenic spots such as Jiangjunyan, Sleeping Beauty and Tian Fei Waterfall. In the scenic spot selection organized by Zhejiang Tourism Bureau 1997, it was rated as one of the "favorite scenic spots for tourists" in the whole province, one of the five scenic spots in Zhejiang Province in 1999, and the base for writers' creation in Zhejiang Province in 2000.

In 2002, it was awarded "Zhejiang Photography Creation Base" by Zhejiang Photographers Association. There are many waterfalls and Longtan people in the upper reaches of the scenic spot, and there are eleven continuous waterfalls and deep pools with different shapes within 500 meters, which are rare in China. Many film and television works, such as the Zhang Jizhong version of the Dragon, the film forbidden kingdom and the new version of bride with white hair, were shot here.
