I3, EQC, e-tron, Taycan, just like BBA+P, I3 has never tried. I wrote an EQC album earlier, and I took a test drive at Teken Circuit in the last issue. In fact, e- tron was the first to witness the e-tron in Europe during my trip to Germany early last year. Today, I will try the domestic version of e-tron and see what upgrade it has with the European version.
This is very confusing. We see that Q2 also has an e-Tron, and on the same platform as Porsche, there is also an e-Tron GT. In front of this pure electric SUV, the logo is e-tron 55 quattro.
It is not only a China edition, but also a German version with the same name. Perhaps it is the initiative of new energy, just to strengthen the brand name and unify the movement of new energy.
I met e-Tron at the Berlin Film Festival in Germany.
The biggest difference between the German version and the China version is that the rearview camera replaces the rearview mirror.
I first met e-tron in Berlin, Germany last year. It was at the Berlin Film Festival. Audi e-tron 55 quattro is a concierge car, which is responsible for picking up important stars and VIPs, while the e-tron GT on the same platform as Taycan is on display.

When I wrote EQC, I noticed that EQC and GLC are very similar. After reading the bottom plate structure of EQC, it is not completely in line with GLC, but it still belongs to the technical level of "oil to electricity".
And e-tron, the manufacturer said that it is a completely independent new design, not the level of oil to electricity. The data show that the chassis used by e-tron is still Volkswagen's MLB Evo platform, but all the extensions are completely electrochemical configuration, which may be a compromise transition and reasonable. A traditional gasoline vehicle manufacturer always needs a process to produce pure electric vehicles.
The exclusive platform PPE built by Audi and Porsche for pure electric vehicles was not launched until 2022. It can be seen that the pure electric vehicle owned by the public now is a transitional process. Even so, it doesn't mean that pure electric products are impure or lacking, but they are more extreme in form.
E-tron is still very Audi Every line, every corner and the overall design language are the logic of Audi and represent the future development direction of Audi.
When Audi introduced e-tron to the market, it included two directions. The SUV version is a regular popular version, which is dominated by practicality and comfort. E-tron GT takes the performance and technical route, Taycan comes out, and GT is still mysterious, so I think it is necessary to make some breakthroughs, especially in performance.
Whether it is Audi or Porsche, traditional car companies still focus on driving control, emphasizing the texture of driving control. Always building a car for decades to a hundred years, the precipitated driving texture is also real.
Audi has really done a good job in gasoline vehicles, and it is an expert in both comfortable driving and extreme driving control of RS. As for new energy electric vehicles, Audi is also shaped by the driving sense of gasoline vehicles. It seems that Audi's marketing strategy group knows how to use existing gasoline owners as the main force and as the first echelon of new products.
In the face of Tesla, the big rival of new energy, e-tron may be smart. Tesla has opened up new car habits and behaviors for the market, which is suitable for new users. It is certainly a good strategy for traditional car companies to make breakthroughs in inheritance and let traditional car owners accept new energy electric vehicles in familiar environments.
E-tron's control is familiar. Audi is as easy to drive as ever, novices are easy to become masters, and strangers are too quiet. The air suspension is excellent, with a strong sense of movement, neither too hard nor too soft, and it is a pure electric vehicle with a full sense of driving control.
Audi e-tron is different from Porsche Taycan. Taycan is a front and rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, and e-tron is a front and rear asynchronous motor.
Pure electric vehicles are not only quiet, but also have little vibration. It was taken at a high speed of 80 kilometers per hour, which shows that the water droplets are quite stable.
The advantages of permanent magnet synchronous motor are small size and high efficiency, but the disadvantages are high cost and large heat dissipation, so Porsche has also spent a lot of resources to build thermal management, and the natural cost is higher. Asynchronous motor is widely used, with average cost, larger volume, more stable and durable, but its disadvantage is that it loses effective energy.
It is difficult to tell the winner from the loser, because in fact, each has its own advantages and disadvantages, mainly depending on positioning and strategy, as well as matching technology. For example, if the performance management of lithium battery exceeds the discharge range, it will harm the battery itself and affect how to formulate its total output and battery life.
E-tron is limited to about 88%, and Tesla is about 95%. It can be seen that Tesla is more radical in battery management, and conversely, Audi is a bit conservative. In terms of battery life, e-tron can achieve 470 kilometers, but it is still insufficient compared with the current domestic 700 kilometers. However, this endurance may be different from the understanding of Europeans. For them, endurance is equivalent to a fuel tank, and bigger is not their focus. It is not difficult to understand that the above is always pure electricity first, and it also provides a better platform for future products. Only when the PPE platform is activated will you see the real chapter.
E-tron can reach up to 300kw, the speed of boost mode is 8 seconds, and 0- 100km is 5.7 seconds, which is not particularly fast, but the sense of acceleration is still very strong. The sense of acceleration brought by pure electricity is direct, and the throttle response of Audi is very realistic, which is consistent with the feeling of the car. Audi's proud quattro system, e-tron, is also owned by dual motors. The manufacturer calls it e quattro, but the word "e" is not added to the logo.
In the field of new energy vehicles, there is also a new technology "autonomous driving" that creates an era. At present, it is still dominated by Tesla, followed by some domestic brands, while Audi of Volkswagen Group has its own rhythm and has not followed. This electron tube has no automatic program. In fact, this is still controversial, and I will not consider using it myself. On the other hand, there is still a practical configuration, the latest adaptive air suspension. This air suspension can automatically descend 26mm at high speed, return to its original state, or ascend 50mm, with a total lift of 76mm (the second highest I have tried so far, the first is 90mm of Aston Martin DBX), which is absolutely easy to use!
The same is true of the design language of e-tron interior. There is no exaggerated super-science fiction, but a sense of technological future at hand.
The touch screen of the central control has tactile feedback, which makes technology bring texture. The switching screen has always been excellent, and the new generation MMI is scientific and concise, while the traditional gear lever still exists, but it has become a push rod in the driving mode (RND), which is a bit different from the routine.
The seats are comfortable and sufficient, and the workmanship is excellent. Moreover, the domestic version also uses Alcantara, which is more textured.
You know, although the size of the e-tron is not as long as the Q8, the length of 4.9 meters and the width of 1.9 meters really make the space of the e-tron very comfortable. It is an all-round pure electric SUV with ever-changing functions.
In the field of pure electricity, Tesla, the world leader, deserves it, and it is also a fact that we need to accept. "Don't underestimate your opponent!" This maxim also applies to Audi and competitor Tesla.

We can't think that with 1 10 years of experience in building cars, we can easily beat the new energy tram market. Similarly, intelligent technology alone cannot defeat traditional car companies for more than 100 years. Everything depends on how to integrate and adapt. Integrate technology and tradition to adapt to today's ever-changing and insatiable world. The lazier people become, the more they rely on technology. How to decide which technologies are suitable will be a good topic.
Of course, the opponent is not unique, that is, both German departments already have EQC, and the competition is not fierce. However, I still think that different people have different choices. Again, perceptual decision is more than rational, so I don't make a conclusion.
I am not a fan of pure electricity, nor an expert in the field of pure electricity, so my conclusion is subjective, not necessarily accurate, and suitable for everyone. Please forgive me. However, as a car lover, there will always be some opinions, from the perspective of the owner. My point is that although it has sprouted in the pure electric market, whether it is domestic, imported, just needed or super-running, it does not mean that it has been popularized or can completely replace cars. This era has not yet arrived.
In the pure electricity market, my observation is divided into three categories: 1, Tesla, with its own charging system, and its maturity and market share are self-evident. 2. Domestic independent brands, including private cars and * * * cars. , the pursuit of cost performance. 3, the traditional high-end brand share of car companies is small, and after-sales support lags behind. That's exactly what I want to say. High-end electric vehicles such as e-tron and Taycan also have advantages and disadvantages of electric vehicles, and the disadvantage is precisely the problem of charging.
Of course, I think it's a big joke to have pure trams and lack private parking spaces. I have already explained this problem in the last episode of Taycan. A pure tram is like a mobile phone. It needs to be recharged whenever possible. Unlike a car, it only takes ten minutes to refuel, and 40 minutes is the foundation, except for idle people, ordinary workaholics or active people like me. In fact, they are not suitable for electric vehicles, because they are time-consuming and limited, and they can't wait.
It should be the basic requirement to have a private parking space for charging, otherwise it will be too time-consuming and laborious to go out for a day to find charging. Unlike Tesla, it is relatively simple to have your own charging system. The only problem is to have enough charging places. Large shopping malls do not necessarily have vacancies, charging is an expense, and parking lots are another expense. So I think it's a bit far-fetched to save money by playing electric cars.
Moreover, the charging of e-tron is definitely not as convenient as that made in China, because of the tilt of national policy, it has become very popular in the special car territory. Although the charging of e-tron is different from that of some pure electric sockets in China, more attention should be paid to the charging position. Finding a location doesn't mean you can charge it. There are different companies and different apps to recharge the controls, and some of them must be signed by Audi to start! So there is an essential difference between charging and refueling! Back to reality, pure electricity is not yet the time. Pure electricity should only be the second car at home, otherwise it will be physically and mentally exhausted and only suitable for daily regular commuting. If there are many wonderful lives every day, you should think about it.
