Where was A Writer's Odyssey filmed?

The film The Writer's Odyssey was shot in Qingdao and Chongqing.

The film lasted more than three months, and about 70% of the scenes were filmed in Qingdao Oriental Film Capital Sunac Film and Television Industrial Park. A writer's Odyssey 20 19 also went to Chongqing to film. The crew has been to Chongqing Jialing Hospital to shoot in various wards of the hospital. In addition, Lei Jiayin, Yang Mi and others filmed not only in Jialing Hospital, but also in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Qijiang, Yudong and Wulong.

In the film, Dong Zijian plays two roles, and the novelist he plays speaks fluent Chongqing dialect. Although Dong Zijian is a Beijinger, he has always had a good language talent. Therefore, in terms of scenery, the squares, towers and houses of the city all refer to the ancient and beautiful China architecture.

After the real shooting, it takes nearly two years of special effects production to fully establish this fantasy world with oriental characteristics. In order to make the foreign world in the film rich in texture, the screenwriter's Odyssey specially uses the techniques of "motion capture" and "virtual shooting" in Avatar and The Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
