To apply for an employee-based trial assistant, the following conditions shall be met:

No applicant:

1. Having been criminally punished for committing a crime.

2. Being expelled from public office or being expelled from a court or procuratorate.

3. The suspected violation of discipline and law is under review and no conclusion has been reached.

4. Servicemen and full-time college students.

5. The people's court identified the person who was executed for breach of trust through judicial procedures.

6. There are other circumstances that are not suitable for serving as employee-based trial assistants.
