What is a CCD camera?

CCD (full name in English: Charge Coupled Device) is a semiconductor imaging device, so it has the advantages of high sensitivity, strong light resistance, small distortion, small volume, long life and vibration resistance.

Extended data:

The image of the object is focused on the CCD chip through the lens, and the CCD accumulates corresponding charges according to the intensity of light. Under the control of video sequence, the accumulated charge of each pixel is moved out point by point, and after filtering and amplification, a video signal is output.

When a video signal is connected to the video input of a monitor or TV, you can see the same video image as the original image. It is a semiconductor imaging device. In order to simplify the power supply of CCD camera, generally only one power supply (12V) is input from the outside, and other power supplies with various voltage values in the camera are obtained through power conversion.
